Henry Burke (Matt Bush) is set to graduate High School as the Valedictorian and go to MIT, but a chance encounter with an old friend can derail all of that. When Henry is sentenced to detention with ex-friend Travis Breaux (Sean Marquette), the two decide to hang out together again. They go back to their old tree house and Travis convinces Henry to get high. What the two boys don’t know is the multi-Spelling Bee Champ, who goes to their school, has been just been busted for smoking pot for each one of her championships. The principal (Michael Chiklis) is so embarrassed and upset about his prize student’s bust that he is ordering a mandatory drug test for the school and anyone who tests positive will be kicked out. Henry is crapping a brick and doesn’t know what to do, so Travis comes up with an idea. Since there is going to bake sale at the same time, why not exchange the parent made brownies with pot ones. Thus getting the whole school to fail the test and Henry will be in the free and clear. Only problem is where are they going to get all of that key ingredient. So Travis comes up with a plan that they will rob the Psycho Ed (Adrien Brody), the main dealer in town, for the much needed supply. By some miracle they get more than enough pot to get the school high and they make their special brownies. Everything is going brilliantly as the whole school scoops up all of the brownies and even goes back for seconds and thirds.
But their is a problem the senior class #2 knows what it is going on and he is threatening to bring the evidence to the principal. But that isn’t all that has gone wrong, Pyscho Ed has figured what they did and now he is going all psycho on the boys. Now their brilliant plan is about to go bust and they will be exposed for what they did, ruining Henry’s life forever. Will they by some miracle be able to get out of this mess or will Psycho Ed and their principal get their way with the two of them. You have to go see this movie to find out.
Seriously High School is so much fun, not only do you see all the crazy antics that go on with the boys. You also get to watch a whole school get high. Who doesn’t want to see that?
High School is a fast paced fun movie with so many crazy twist and turns, that you will leave the theater with the giggles. And it will be a natural case of the giggles and not drug induced.
