Good Charlotte has begun recording its fourth studio album, according to a post from guitarist Billy Martin on the group’s Web site. "We are all done writing and demoing for this album and have started tracking the final album songs," he wrote. "Everything is going great and we have some really amazing songs that I’m sure you will love."
Martin’s comments were echoed by Good Charlotte principal Joel Madden on his Myspace.com site. "We’ve demo-ed like 30-some songs, and I just wanna finish it, put it out and get back on the road," he said. The as-yet-untitled album is expected for release before the end of the year via Epic. It will be the follow-up to the band’s 2004 effort "The Chronicles of Life and Death," which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
