[ # ] Gone Too Far and The Buried Life are coming to MTV!
July 29th, 2009 under VH1/MTV

Once again I am at the TCAs and today is Viacom’s cable day, so I am live blogging what MTV has coming up so if it seems it is out of order that is why!
DJ AM is coming to MTV with a new show called Gone Too Far which is about 18-25 year olds who are the end of their drug ropes and he is going to try to help them get sober. DJ AM has been sober for 11 years and he said that he is able to remain clean by helping others.
When he was asked about his drug use, he said he was the only 300 pound crack addict. One day he realized that he had Gone Too Far and sought the help he needed and now he is allergic to the drugs and alcohol that once controlled his life. He feels he had a second chance and now he is taking that chance to help others get their.
Starting on October 5th MTV will 8 one hour episodes of incredible stories of people who desperately need help and finally get it. These 18-25s and the people who love them will be the focus of the show and even though this is not an easy show to watch, it should be watched by everyone. It will be real and DJ AM says there is at least one person he is not sure he will remain sober. Intense, but important viewing!

From the serious side of drugs to a lighter note, MTV will also be airing a feel good show about 4 guys who made a list of 100 things to do before they die. So they got in a purple bus in their hometown of Vancouver, BC and now they are driving Canada and US and live out those dreams. Number 54 was to get a TV show and they did it. They have been doing good by helping kids in South Central to get computers. One they haven’t done is told a joke on Late Night TV, so I making a plea to my favorite Late Night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! to let them do that dream on their list on the show.
BTW you can see in the trailer that all 4 guys are eye candy. But what you might not see is not only are they hot, they are just super cool guys that you want in your living rooms. So when MTV airs this show make sure to catch it!!!
