Back in September, Gimme a Break’s Lauri Hendler took part in the clinical trials for the COVID-19 vaccine. Yesterday, she posted a photo of herself because they asked to come back for another shot.
“Number three,” the actress wrote. “Now I’m testing out a booster shot that may or may not be adjusted for one of the #covid19 #variants.”
I am not surprised that they are doing more studies. I expect that we are going to have to get a shot every year like the flu shot. That is fine, as long as it protects us from coronavirus.
When it comes to the shot, I got the Pfizer one on Easter. Besides some chills and arm soreness, it wasn’t that bad. In fact, I had fewer side effects with it than I did with this year’s flu shot. Therefore, you should get it. Please, get it.
