Garth Brooks is coming out of retirement to play several weeks in Vegas at the Wynn. The country superstar is rumored to be taking over the theater that was to be occupied by the late Danny Gans at the casino for 16 weeks in 2010 according to
Robin Leach. Garth made a quick statement in Nashville that he was coming out of retirement, but did not go into much detail as he boarded a plane to Vegas. He will be holding a press conference in Sin City at 12n pst explaining it all and you can watch it on
Garth Brooks.com. The show is expected to sell out quickly, so if you want tickets you better not hesitate.
Garth went into retirement back on October 26, 2000 to spend more time with his kids and his wife. I wonder if Trisha Yearwood will be opening for him?
UPDATE: Garth Brooks will be playing 15 dates starting December 11th at the Wynn Las Vegas and tickets go on sale on October 24th. All tickets are reasonable $125, seriously that is not a bad price to see him in Vegas. They will totally sell fast.
