The Foo Fighters decided to change things up for this holiday season. Instead of giving us one Christmas song, they are going to sing eight songs on each night of Chanukah, performed by Jewish artists.
“With all the mishegas of 2020, Greg and I were kibbitzing about how we could make Hannukah extra-special this year. Festival of Lights?!? How about a festival of tasty LICKS!!!” Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin wrote. “So hold on to your tuchuses because we’ve got something special coming for your shayna punims. L’chaim!!!!”
The two men did not say who and which songs they were singing, so we are left to guess. Therefore, I am expecting something from either Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Bette Middler, Boy George, Maroon 5, Bob Dylan, KISS, Billy Joel, P!nk, half a Josh Groban song, and/or Adam Sandler. Hopefully, they will find one day to do Leonard Cohen’s Halleluja.
