Eli Roth, who is currently filming Inglourious Basterds in Berlin, had his film Cotton that he is producing for Strike Entertainment get picked up by Studio Canal according to
Variety. Cotton is about an evangelical minister who turns against religion and decides to participate in a documentary in which he practices his last exorcism.
COTTON is the scariest script I've read in years. I'm a huge fan of the filmmakers, who made a brilliantly funny, sick, and rarely-seen film called MAIL ORDER WIFE. Strike produced the "Dawn of the Dead" remake and we've been quietly putting this project together for the past few months. The script is terrifying.
After reading what the movie is about and what Eli told me, I so can't for that movie! Seriously how awesome does it sound!!!
