Back in the ’80s, it seemed like Eddie Murphy could do wrong. But then came 1985.
What happened that year? He released his first album, How Could It Be. And we thought, how could it be that his music was that bad? But it was.
Believe it or not, after the failure of his first attempt as a singer, he released two more records.
After 31 years, we thought he was done with his dream of being a singer. However, it turns out, we were wrong.
Yesterday, Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans at the Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F premiere wanted to know if we will ever hear new songs from him. “I have lots of stuff. I never stopped recording, I just stopped putting stuff out. Every now and then, I’ll put something up on YouTube for free with no advertising or anything.” he said. “I’ve almost put a record out a bunch of times over the years.”
Murphy then explained that he came close several times but he stopped himself. However, he didn’t stop himself from recording, so he has a lot stuff ready to go.
Although, he will have to find a new studio to work out of. That is because his daughter moved back, and the studio became her bedroom.
