Following reports that SARA EVANS suddenly dropped out of ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars" competition due to her pending divorce from her husband, CRAIG SCHELSKE, we learn the country singer has taped a short interview with ABC that the show will air Tuesday. Hollywood is also reacting to Sara’s sad ‘Dancing’ departure. "I respect her because she puts her family first," JOEY LAWRENCE says. "Nothing is more paramount than that and I couldn’t agree with her decision more." MARIO LOPEZ also offers his support for his friend. "Sara’s a wonderful person," he says. "I love her." Sara’s country superstar friends are also speaking out about the surprising news. "[I’m] friends with her and her husband," TIM McGRAW says. "It’s none of my business but I wish the best for them." In court papers obtained by ET, Sara alleges verbal abuse, harassment, excessive consumption of alcohol and adultery. The filing also seeks custody of their children. In the documents, Sara claims her husband has been storing personal ads looking for sex from the online site Craigslist on his personal computer. They also state that he "maintains many pornographic photographs" of himself, along with photographs showing him having sex with other women. On Friday her lawyer told ET that "under the circumstances, Sara had no other choice [but to file for divorce]." And today, Sara’s lawyers are filing supplemental complaints asking for additional restraining orders. According to her attorney, Craig withdrew $275,000 from their joint account and put it into an account with only his name on it. The additional restraining order will forbid him from withdrawing any additional funds. Sara and her husband were married in 1993. They have three children together. The 43-year-old Schelske once unsuccessfully ran for Congress in his home state of Oregon. According to a statement from her rep, ALLEN BROWN, "recent events that shed light on the status of her marriage prompted Ms. Evans to make the filing." Brown goes on to say that the celeb decided to drop out of her "Dancing" commitment "to give her family her full attention at this difficult time." "Ms. Evans hopes that her fans and TV viewers who’ve supported her in recent weeks and throughout her music career will respect and understand her need for privacy in the face of these recent events," he added.

If she never did the show her divorce would’ve been a little blurb, but now it is front page news…so sad.
