Lifetime has cancelled Drop Dead Diva after 4 seasons on the air, a studio rep confirmed to me. No reason was given but I think we can all agree that the network made a huge mistake. The show was one of their strongest and highest rated, plus after the shocking season finale the fans wanted to know what happens next. Guess we won’t find out unless another network or Netflix picks it up for another season.
There used to be a time I loved watching Lifetime, but now I can barely watch it. They keep giving reality shows to the daughters of famous people and then surprised when they fail because no one cares about them. Then the two shows they have that people love, they recast them and turn off viewers. Tell me I am not the only one considering giving up Dance Moms after they ditched the moms. And Army Wives got rid of half of the wives and that is why we watched.
What will take for Lifetime to realize there is reason why they are losing viewers to the other networks as in they are getting rid of the shows that would’ve kept those viewers?
