Tonight at 9:30p Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23 is going to debut on ABC and you are so going to want to watch this laugh out loud sitcom.
When I heard about this show last year during pilot season, I thought it was going to be so stupid that it would never be picked up by the network. Well I was wrong and I am so glad I was because it is so freaking hilarious.
June Colbern (Dreama Walker) moves to NYC for the perfect job. On her first day at the job the government shuts down the business and seizes the building she now no longer lives in. Now she is jobless and homeless and desperately needs both. So she looks for a roommate and moves in with Chloe (Krysten Ritter) whom she thinks is perfect. That all changes once her new roommie gets her money because then Chloe turns into the Bitch in Apt 23. She will terrorize her in so many ways trying to get her to move out (like sleeping June’s fiance’ on her birthday cake), but none of them will work. It looks like Chloe has met her match, but that won’t stop her.
In the upcoming episodes they will form an interesting friendship and because of that we will be laughing. Chloe is so messed up that even when she tries to do something good it is totally wrong. I mean seriously next week’s episode is a perfect example of all of the wrongness of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt 23.
Now even though there is so much wrongness on the show, there is so much right with James Van Der Beek playing James Van Der Beek. He is so freaking perfect on the show, that in ways I wish it was all him, all the time. Dawson is on the joke and that is what makes his addition so perfect. There will be several homages to his past roles and several awww moments about his life now that you will love him even more than Joey ever did.
So tune in for the surprise comedy of the season, I promise you will want to move in even though you know how much of a bitch Chloe is.
