Danny Glover was live via satellite with KTVU to talk about a APWU’s National Day of Action to protest USPS cutbacks and delays in mail service. Less than a minute into his interview, the anchor cut him off to tell him they were almost out of time. That interruption was a lethal weapon to ears, so he told her, “Well you should have given me more time, that is the first thing. OK. So why don’t you go on, if you don’t have the time then don’t bother. Just don’t give me two minutes. I am from the San Fransisco and Oakland, that is the least you could have done was given me more time. I am not somebody who is just moved by the waist side.” O
nce he was done ranting, he answered his question but in an unhappy tone. I can’t say I blame him. For a lot of celebrities it is a big deal to be interviewed by their hometown station. He was probably looking the most forward to talking to then and then Tori Campbell rudely cut him off almost as soon as he started talking. But in her defense, you only get so much time on sat interviews and their is only so much time in the newscast to dedicate to any story at any given time. So next time, a peaceful solution for the two would be just do it live to tape and he won’t know that you abruptly cut him off.
