Back in March, CBS picked up The Big Bang Theory for 3 more seasons and now EP Steve Molaro hints that they might be the last three for the show. When
The Hollywood Reporter asked him if he sees season 10 as the “end of the road”, he said “You never know. I’m going to move forward along with (co-creator/EP) Chuck (Lorre) that 10 is the end unless we’re told otherwise.” Then he added, “The mindset is it’s going to be the 10 and then we’ll see what happens after that.” At this point they are planning for the end, but they don’t have a finale in mind like How I Met Your Mother did from episode 1.
Even though he is planning for the show to end in 3 years, to him it is more important to end the show properly rather than by making it to a certain amount of seasons. Since this show will be living in syndication for years to come, that is a wise decision for them and for us.
So are you sad that show might be ending in 2017 or are you starting tire of the show? To be honest, I starting to get over the show. The more characters they add, the less charm it has for me.
