Meat Loaf went under the knife today for knee surgery and he won’t be running like a Bat Out of Hell for a few weeks. His people posted this message and the picture on Facebook:
Thank you everyone for the thoughts, prayers and love you’ve been sending for Meats surgery today. Here’s the final pic before we sent him under the knife! He’ll be checking out for 2 weeks whilst he starts the recovery process but we’ll endeavor to step into his facebook shoes and keep you updated on his progress and all other happenings.
We know he loves and appreciates his fans and is incredibly thankful to have such an overwhelming amount of support and good will for his recovery!

Hopefully he will be back to his old self before we know it. Because I will tell you, he puts on one of hell a show and I don’t want anything to come between him and him doing that.
