Candace Cameron posted a video on TikTok of the Holy Spirt taking over as she seductively danced to Lana Del Rey’s Jealous Girl. Then she picked up her Bible, looked at it the way I look at my favorite vibrator before I dance with it, and she told the book that she is in love with it.
Needless to say, her uptight conservative fans were not happy with it. Therefore, she apologized to them via her Instagram Stories.
She said, “I just came home and read a lot of messages that were not happy with my latest Instagram post that was a TikTok video. And I usually don’t apologize for these things, but a lot of you thought it was weird, and I’m sorry. That was not my intention. I was using a very specific clip from TikTok and applying it to the power of the Holy Spirit, which is incredible.
“And so many of you thought that I was trying to be seductive, which clearly means I’m not a very good actress because I was trying to be strong, not sexy or seductive. So I guess that didn’t work, but I deleted it.”
She then goes on to add that she was trying to show us that nothing can trump the holy spirit and that she only knows that from reading the Bible.
The way I looked at the video was there was a Priest on the other side of the camera splashing holy water on her and chanting, “The Spirit of Christ compels you.” You know, he’s basically doing an exorcism on her.
I am considered the sinner by my orthodox family, and even I was weirded out by this video. I am sorry, but this is so sacrilegious. What do you think?
Oh, and when it comes to her acting, it is bad. I can’t watch any of her Hallmark movies because of it. And I love their movies. Not as much as she loves the Bible in this video.
