Back when Will & Grace aired the first time, Alan Arkin played
Debra Messing’s father. Sadly, he is not able to reprise his role of Mr Adler, so she needs a new actor to guest star as her dad. A man that has played the part before and it is Robert Klein. He starred as her pops on her last show The Mysteries of Laura, so he knows how to pretend she is his daughter.
Messing also added that Blythe Danner will once again play Will’s mom. Now that we know the parents are coming back, it would be nice to know what they will be doing.
