For the last 25 years, Final Destination has given us irrational fears of everyday things, like driving behind a truck with logs or going for an MRI. And they are not done yet.
After a 14-year break, the franchise took a break from death claiming those who escaped him, but then they returned with Final Destination Bloodlines. And they saw their biggest box office numbers and a new generation of fans.
Therefore, it makes sense that New Line Cinema wants more. The franchise’s daddy, Jeffrey Reddick, confirmed the news, “Why yes, there will be another Final Destination. Couldn’t be happier to see [writer] Lori [Evans Taylor] back behind the keyboards. ”
In the last six movies, we have seen our victims escape a plane crash, a car accident, a deadly roller coaster ride, a car race go bad, a bridge collapse, and a sky-high restaurant collapse.
So, what mass casualty situation do you think for FD7? I would like to see a building collapse during a tornado because they went into the wrong building.
As much as I am looking forward to the new movie., I am not looking forward to having one without the late Tony Todd.
