David Cook is proving that he so deserved to win American Idol, because he truly is an Idol!!! According to
Star Magazine his biggest fan 7 year old Lindsey Rose was diagnosed with leukemia last Christmas, and she started a friendship with him when he was vying for the title. In fact the orange bracelet he was wearing was for her. After the finale he contacted her and said when he was Tampa he would visit her.
That day arrived on Aug. 21, and squeals of delight mingled with tears of joy as big-hearted David, 25, kept his promise to Lindsey Rose, treating her like a little princess during a special day together. "From the moment we arrived, David grabbed Lindsey by the hand and the two were inseparable," her father Charley Belcher, a feature reporter for Fox WTVT Channel 13 in Tampa, tells Star. "They are friends forever."
Wow, what an amazing guy. I knew he deserved to wiin, but he is proving to the doubters why he won American Idol 7!!!
