The good news is that Chuck Todd is leaving NBC’s Meet the Press after nine painful years. The bad news is that he will still be hosting the show for the rest of the summer.
In September, Kristen Welker, NBC News’ co-chief White House correspondent, will take over the show. And we wish her the best of luck.
Hopefully, she will be better than Todd. But, then again, he set the bar low.
2023 has been a good year for TV News. First, Fox News Channel fired Tucker Carlson. Then, that same day, CNN parted ways with Don Lemon. And today, Todd joins them on the unemployment line.
And that makes me ponder, who is next? So many awful candidates need to be shown the door.
