Chuck the little show that could, has done it again because NBC renewed the show for another season! Show creator Josh Schwartz took a note from Ashton Kutcher when he Tweeted the news by saying, “what’s the square root of 25?” The answer is 5, confirming the spy show would be back. He then went on to say,”The passion of the CHUCK fans has been heard again… We are all truly lucky to have the greatest fan base on tv. Thank you” and “I will have more details soon… Very happy for the cast and crew.” As one of those fans, I would like to say just like the cast and crew we are very happy too!!!
BTW here is a little something interesting to bring this post full circle as Schwartz was breaking the news, another Chuck was doing the same. Chuck Lorre, Warner Bros and CBS confirmed that Ashton Kutcher is officially joining Two and a Half Men or as he calls it The Square Root of 6.25 Men!!!

UPDATE: The good news is Chuck was picked up for a fifth season, the bad news it will be its last…:(

UPDATE 2: James Hibberd is reporting that The Event was cancelled. At the beginning of the season this news would’ve upset me, but after Hal Holbrook shot himself in the head the show just lost it or me.

UPDATE 3: Law and Order: Los Angeles was also cancelled. They should’ve cancelled the show after they fired Skeet Ulrich and killed him off in such an unceremonious way.

UPDATE 4: Sadly Outsourced was cancelled. The show’s Executive producer Victor Nelli Tweeted, “Thank you everyone !!! What a great year.. i will never forget this time. #outsourced family forever..” Actor Riz Manji took to Twitter to say, “Before it hits the trades-Outsourced isnt coming back.Sad to see it go-hopeful that this opportunity was a step towards others!Thanx all!” And show writer Geetika Lizardi said, “Mourning the end of Outsourced. It was a wonderful experience and I’m grateful for it.”
I am grateful we had the show for as long as we did. I honestly learned a lot about Indian culture from it and I also laughed out loud several times as I learned the lessons. NBC never gave this show a shot which is sad because it was the funniest show on their Thursday lineup.
Thank you the cast of Outsourced for all the chuckles! Hope to see you all on TV again very soon!!!
