[ # ] Charlie Sheen is still one of the Two and a Half Men
May 17th, 2010 under Chuck Lorre

Even though there were rumors that Charlie Sheen was leaving the #1 comedy on TV, he reached a last minute deal with Warner Bros to stay on the CBS show for another 2 years. His people released this statement to Entertainment Weekly, “To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights. I want to thank Les Moonves for his support.”
No word how much he is getting, partly because they don’t release that info and partly because it would depress you. According to TMZ he was asking for $2 million an episode, which is around $45 million for the season. While he might not have gotten that, he got something close to that according to what TMZ is hearing. I am sorry, but I don’t think he is worth it. I was actually looking forward to a 2.5 Men without him because they made his so lame this season pairing him up with Chelsea. If they get rid of Chelsea, I might like Charlie Harper more…but I still don’t think Sheen is worth that much. If you think about it, he isn’t the one from the show who won an Emmy for his part on the show and I doubt Jon Cryer is getting half of what Sheen is getting now.
Hey Chuck Lorre why don’t you work on a spinoff with Berta and Evelyn, so in two years you won’t care how much money Sheen is asking for.
BTW just think Brooke Mueller could get half of his salary since he signed before she filed for divorce…if she winds up filing.
