Will Smith is on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today with his son Jaden and Ellen asked him about purposely trying to embarrass his son as much as possible. He answered the daytime talk show host by telling her that he loves him and then he decided to show her how much by reaching over the couch and trying to kiss his little Karate Kid. As hard as Jaden tried to wiggle out of his dad’s embrace, he couldn’t. So when he accepted his fate, Will gave up and told Ellen “You know when you have kids; you love them and you are proud of them. You just wanna kiss them in the mouth sometimes.” Grossed out Jaden then said a lot. I don’t know what to say that, but I think we can all guess that is why Jaden is rumored to want to be emancipated when he turns 15 in less than two months.
Remember when Will Smith was the hottest actor out there and every movie he did blew you away? Well that was a long time ago and ever since he did Men in Black II his movies have either been a real snoozefests or just crap. Now it looks like his latest film After Earth will be like all the movies he has done in the last decade. So I want to know when he is going to make a movie like Independence Day again? And when will his son Jaden do a movie that his dad isn’t in or financed? And when will Hollywood stop letting M. Night Shyamalan makes movies? His first movie was good, but the rest have all sucked big time. Enough is enough!
So I guess you can tell by this post where I won’t be when this movie comes out on June 7th?

Even though Willow Smith has more money than you and me at age 11, does that mean she is old enough to wear shirt like that? It is not because it has Freddy Kruger (I have an issue with her wearing my favorite icon) on it, but where his mouth is placed. I mean is that appropriate for a preteen? If his face were higher up, I wouldn’t have a problem with it but it isn’t so I do.
Willow Smith made a name for herself (separate from her parents) with her song Whip My Hair, and now the 11 year old can no longer say that because she shaved her head. Now that she has a hairstyle just like her dad’s, she looks exactly like Will Smith. There is no doubting he is her father, not there was any doubt in the first place.
Will Smith gave us a little Christmas present this year by reuniting with most of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cast. He Facebooked the above picture and said, “Got the Holiday season started right with a ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ reunion…there’s nothin’ like spending Holidays with fam! — with Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Alfonso Ribeiro and James Avery.” How cool is it to see them all together again! They still look the big family happy we knew as back when we got to know them back in 1990. Can you believe that show debuted over 21 years ago?
BTW since the Aunt Viv’s aren’t there, we will pretend those two guys bookending the picture are them and that mysterious guy is Geoffrey. That works, right?
