It will be 8 and out for Monk according to Broadcasting and Cable and I am sad this show is coming to an end.
“We want to build to a spectacular conclusion for this wonderful show. By many measures, Monk is the most successful series in the history of basic cable television — and it was certainly the original tentpole of our ‘character’ brand,” said Jeff Wachtel executive VP, original programming, USA Network. “Our fans have been extremely dedicated and season eight should prove to be a very satisfying reward.”
The second half of Monk’s 7th season will air in January and the start of the 16 episode final season will air in the summer.
The Starter Wife is back tonight on USA at 9p with a two hour premiere. There are a lot of changes to the show from last season and I love them all. Molly Kagan is man-free, but looks like there is a new one coming her way. She has a new friend, who will quickly not be her friend because Molly’s journal is stolen at a party and someone is leaking what she wrote to a blog and that friend is getting the brunt of the gossip. Joan is out of rehab, well sort because now she is working for them three days a week. We need more Joan even though we are getting plenty of her, you just can’t get enough. Rodney is designing a male action superstar’s house but he has designs for more than just the house but will this hunky superstar want more too?
There is so much fun in the fast paced two hour premiere I can’t wait for more next week. So tune into The Starter Wife tonight and every Friday at 9p for an enjoyable show to end your week!!!
USA has picked up Psych and Burn Notice for another season according to Michael Ausiello! Both shows will be back in January to finish off their seasons and will start their new 16 episodesseason next summer. Confusing but who cares I love bith shows and glad I will be getting more of them!!!
In Plain Sight is only half way through with its first season, but USA is wasting no time to pick up this show for a second season. If you have never seen this show, check out why USA picked it up before it goes into the witness protection program or better known as repeats, tonight and every Sunday at 10p.
Psych is back and tonight on USA at 10p and we finally meet Sean’s mom. So who was the woman that was actually brave enough to marry to Henry Spencer and give birth to Sean…no other than Cybill Shepherd. Cybill a private practice psychologist met Henry Spencer (Corbin Bernsen) when he was a cop and had to analyze him. The two found love, but let’s be real Henry is not the easiest guy to live with. This season we see a new side of Henry as he tries to impress her….will it work?
Also on the episode Sean and Gus’ business partnership is in trouble when Gus’ real job tells him it is either them or Psych. Which will Gus choose…working his best friend or his $40,000 a year job?
