The men of the Daytime Drama Days of our Lives did some After Dark promotion to get people to watch their show. Paul Telfer, Rob Scott Wilson, Eric Martsolf, Christopher Sean, and Bryan Dattilo posed for Playgirl.
The five men talked about their time in Salem and their lives throughout the sand through the hourglass.
But I didn’t read the article. Because I was just there for photos.
And now I will be watching the Peacock Soap again. On that note, why didn’t the online mag have them pose in bathtubs with soap bubbles. Doesn’t that seem like a given?
The Young and the Restless is celebrating its 51st birthday next month, and CBS is not waiting that long to give the daytime Soap Opera its present.
What did they get for the people of Geona City? Four more seasons, bringing the show’s total to 55!
“The YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been a staple of daytime television for over 50 years, and it is with great pleasure that we will continue that legacy at CBS,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “The talented cast and writers deliver compelling performances and stories on a daily basis and have provided iconic moments that have kept the show on top of the ratings and thrilled generations of fans for over five decades. We look forward to seeing what new creative twists and turns they have planned for the folks of Genoa City.”
Congrats to Y&R for the renewal! Long live Soaps!!!
A few months ago, John J. York revealed that he is battling two blood and bone marrow cancers, myelodysplastic syndrome and multiple smoldering myeloma, and needed a stem cell transplant.
Last month, he miraculously got that transplant. And since then, he has been social media silent.
Today, he gave an update on how he is doing. “I wanted to give you a little update as to how things were going along. They’re actually going along very well. I’m still in the middle stages of everything,” the actor said. “I have a long road ahead, but the test results are looking good. I’m feeling really good.”
And he is also looking good, even though he lost his hair due to the intense chemo treatment he needed to get the transplant.
The General Hospital star also revealed that if all goes well, he will hopefully be back on the show by the summer. And we can’t wait to see Mac Scorpio back in Port Charles as soon as he is healthy enough to return.
We first met AnnaLynne McCord on Nip/Tuck, and she followed it up on 90210! The actress was the perfect bitch on both shows. So it makes sense that her upcoming job is going to be on Days of Our Lives.
According to Deadline, her character is described as a “fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance. The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good.”
I hope she gets to do more than that because they got a future Soap Queen when they hired her. Soap Operas are her wheel well!
McCord will make her debut early next year on the Peacock Daytime Drama.
Christian LeBlanc has been missing from The Young and the Restless, and now we know why. The actor told WWL-TV he was diagnosed with the blood cancer Myeloma in June, but he is in remission.
The Y&R star started to notice his left eye was a little wonky, and he was rapidly losing weight. Even the fans began to notice that there was something wrong with his eye, so they reached out to him.
So he went to the eye doctor, who told him to go to a neurological specialist. That is when they noticed that he had a tumor in his nasal passage that was pressing against his optic nerve.
And that was the first time he spent any time in the hospital in his 65 years. Now that he is in remission. Hopefully, it will be his last visit to one.
LeBlanc will return to the CBS soap on Thanksgiving.
