January 12th, 2021 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Whenever we go to the airport, we all look up at the televisions and see CNN Airport. However, today, Jeff Zucker announced that they will be taking their last flight on March 31st.

“The steep decline in airport traffic because of COVID-19, coupled with all the new ways that people are consuming content on their personal devices, has lessen. the need for the CNN Airport Network,” Zucker said. “Having to say goodbye to such a beloved brand is not easy. I want to thank our friends and colleagues who have contributed to its success and to celebrate the fact that for 30 years, the CNN Airport Network has kept millions of domestic travelers informed. It also became an iconic part of the traveling experience in this country.”

Too bad Zucker can’t go with them because he is the worst thing to ever happen to CNN.

Al Roker reveals he has prostate cancer
November 6th, 2020 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Al Roker is used to sharing news about the weather. Today, he shared the news that he is weathering a storm. The Today show anchor revealed that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September.

It appears that they caught the 66-year-old’s cancer earlier, but his is aggressive. Because of that Roker will be taking off at least the next two weeks to deal with the disease. He is opting to have surgery to remove the cancer. If they get it all, then he should be able to return to work after that time period.

Prostate cancer is the second most curable cancer. Therefore, he is optimistic. My dad had it, and after several months of radiation, he beat it.

All men over 40 should get their PSA levels taken. All you have to do is get some bloodwork done to find out if your levels are raised. If they are and it is caught early, then it is easily curable. Don’t be stupid, and make sure to look after your health.

Get well soon, Al!
