Tom Cruise wed Katie Holmes in a lavish wedding at the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle in the lakeside town of Bracciano in Italy. There were over 150 friends and relatives at the wedding including Jenifer Lopez, Richard Gere, Jim Carrey, Marc Anthony, Will Smith, Victoria Beckham, wife of soccer star David Beckham, Jim Carrey and others guests. Also the wedding party included Cruise’s two children, Isabella,13, and Connor,11, from his marriage with Nicole Kidman. Meanwhile, mayor of city of Bracciano Patrizia Riccioni said that it is impossible to consider Cruise and Holmes’s marriage lawful as she was not present at ceremony, and because Cruise did not fill any demanded documents. « This marriage will not be recognized legal under the Italian laws », – has declared Riccioni to the British journalists. Cruise’s representatives confirm that all necessary formalities will be settled in the near future.

Don’t forget that since the two were married in LA before they left for Rome they are legally married.

Would you pay to hear Tom Cruise sing You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling?
November 24th, 2006 under Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes/Suri. [ Comments: none ]

Tom Cruise is reportedly planning to release the Top Gun classic You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ with his new wife, Katie. The 44-year-old Mission Impossible star serenaded his new bride with the Righteous Brothers’ hit on his wedding day last weekend in Bracciano, Italy. The Daily Star reports that the guests, which included some top music executives, were so impressed with his moving rendition that they gave him a standing ovation – and a chance to record the track as a romantic duet. The crooner is prepared to take up the offer as long as he can donate all the profits to the Church Of Scientology. However music bosses are reluctant to channel the earnings into the controversial religion. A source said: "Tom’s got a great voice. And he’s loved that song ever since his Top Gun character Maverick sang it to woo his love interest Kelly McGillis. "And Katie proved how talented she is when she performed in The Singing Detective remake. "Music chiefs know it would be a massive hit so they don’t want to lose all the money to a bizarre religious following. "But Tom’s adamant. He said the song is a symbol of their love and Scientology is the basis of their companionship."

Finally a picture of the dress from the front…and I have to admit it is just nice. Nothing that makes me go wow, what about you? Please don’t get me started on her hair. And is it just me or doesn’t Katie look like a teen in these photos?

A few more TomKat wedding photos

The cake is beautiful, I just wish I could say the same about the dress she is wearing to cut it in. I really want to see the gown she wore for the wedding because we have not really gotten a good look at it. And what is up with their hair, did they not have time to brush it? But all in all they do look happy, now I have to go throw up.

Tom sang You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling to Katie
November 21st, 2006 under Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes/Suri. [ Comments: none ]

Get ready to cringe folks as more details of the TomKat wedding emerge things can only go downhill. The latest tit-bit of information to raise its ugly head is that Tom couldn’t help himself during the ceremony and serenaded his new wife like the scene from Top Gun. The cheese was flowing straight from the heart after DJ Mark Ronson played ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’ and Cruise joined in singing the lines. Anyone gagging yet? Guest Leah Remini told People magazine: "She was completely touched – laughing, loving him and enjoying him." Pass us a sick bag.

That sounds like one of the most nauseating weddings of all time.
