Men of a Certain Age hits it out of the ball park tonight!
June 15th, 2011 under TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

Have you ever watched an episode of a show and there is a scene so powerful that you have to stand up and applaud for one of the characters? Well tonight there is a moment just like that on TNT’s Men of a Certain Age at 10p and since that feeling is very rare I am highly suggesting you don’t miss this home run of an episode.
Now that Owen’s father has taken a step back from the car dealership and left his son in charge, Owen’s duties have expanded to outside the office on his days off. He is now manager of their softball team and trying to get his employees to play ball is harder than trying to sell a car in this economy. Finally the day has come, will his workers finally support him on the field? Will they strike out? Tune in to find out and to see the moment that will leave you cheering.
Seriously I can’t remember the last time I was so proud for a character, but this show starring Andre Braugher, Ray Romano and Scott Bakula is so real that that feel good moment just got to me. So make sure to add this show to your schedule because I promise you won’t regret it!

Men of a Certain Age certainly gets better with age!
June 1st, 2011 under TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

Men of a Certain Age is back on TNT tonight at 10p and you are not going to want to miss a single episode of this heartwarming drama. Ray Romano, Scott Backula and Andre Baugher are lifelong friends and who are going through life. This season will be full of new challenges for them. One will do something illegal, one will fall in love, one will find his inner strength, one will get his a$$ kicked, one will give up on his dream and one will find out what he wants to do with his life. There is a scene coming up in the third episode that will have you clapping for one of them. Can I tell you I can’t remember the last time a show made me clap for a character, but this show did. And I will also applaud this show for tonight’s episodes and the upcoming ones because it is the realist thing you will see TV that isn’t reality TV!

Ray Romano’s TMI about being a man of a certain age!!!
May 26th, 2011 under David Letterman, Ray Romano, TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: 1 ]

Ray Romano is getting older and while he was on The Late Show with David Letterman he discussed with him the positive and negatives about that. The Everybody Loves Raymond star started off talking about the negatives and then the host asked if there were any positives. Well he thought about it and said that getting hurt in the groin area doesn’t hurt as much. But he didn’t stop there, he then went on to detail the changes that men go through down there. And now that I have heard him describe his pork and beans, I will not be able to watch him the same way on Men of a Certain Age that starts back up on TNT this Wednesday at 10p as I used to!
BTW you can hear about Ray’s negatives of getting older tonight at 11:35a on CBS when the full interview airs.

Angie Harmon is sleeping on the job!
April 21st, 2011 under TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

Angie Harmon Tweeeted, “Well… none of my crew bothered to tell me that the car I was sleeping in belonged to a background artist. REALLY?!?” After many people Tweeted her back asking why, she then said “WELL WE’RE ON A FAKE STREET!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS A FAKE CAR!!” And then she asked for a picture of her sleeping in the real car on a fake street and as you can see she got one. So why was she so tired and sleeping on the job? Well her show Rizzoli & Isles was taping through the night.
When it comes to her taking a siesta, even with her eyes close she is still absolutely stunning. I wish I had that luck but I look like sh!t when I doze off.

Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray are moving back to Dallas
February 1st, 2011 under TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

TNT is working on a pilot for the next generation of Dallas and they are bringing back three of the originals to appear in it. Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray will reprise the roles in the reboot that is described as focusing “on the Ewing offspring – J.R. Ewing’s son, John Ross, and the adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing, Christopher – as they clash over the future of the family dynasty.”
Even though they are bringing back three of the biggest names from the original, it feels like they shot JR all over again…
