Timothy Omundson gives an update on his health
April 30th, 2018 under Timothy Omundson. [ Comments: none ]

In April 2017, Timothy Omundson suffered a stroke. Since then, he has been working his a$$ of to get himself better. Yesterday, the Psych star gave us an update and he wanted to let us know that he is, “Not dead yet.” As we learned from Galavant, nothing, not even a stroke, can keep the King down.

Get well soon, I cannot wait to see what you do next because I know it will be brilliant. Remember, you have the mark of Cain to make you immortal. Supernatural is real, right? If that is not good enough, then you played Gd on Lucifer. That means you have this healing thing in the bag. So kick its a$$ into an eternity.

Maggie Lawson spent Christmas with her partner in crime Timothy Omundson!
December 26th, 2017 under Psych, Timothy Omundson. [ Comments: none ]

Maggie Lawson and Timothy Omundson played partners on the small screen and turns out they are the same in real life too. That is because the Psych actors spent Christmas Eve together and look as close as ever. So much so, I do not know why USA has not picked up the detective dramedy for another season after the sucess of Psych: The Movie. Especially since Omundson is looking back to his old self since suffering a stroke 9 months ago. Doesn’t he look fantastic?

Timothy Omundson watched Psych the Movie with his co-stars
December 10th, 2017 under Psych, Tears For Fears, Timothy Omundson. [ Comments: none ]

Earlier this year, Timothy Omundson suffered a stroke and because of that was not able to be in as much of Psych the Movie as everyone including him wanted him to be. Even though he could not be there with his co-stars when they were filming the reunion telemovie, he was able to be reunited with them when they watched it Thursday night. Galavant’s King along with James Roday, Dule Hill, Maggie Lawson, Kristen Nelson, Tears for Fears Curt Smith and producers Todd Harthan, Chris Henze and Saladin Patterson all had as much fun seeing themselves on the small screen again as we did.

Now, let’s hope USA does the right thing and brings it back as series. Revivals are so hot right now, and this show, Monk and 4400 are their three dramas that people want to see return to weekly television.

Finally, two things we have learned about Omundson this, is that he looked great during his cameo and even better with his friends for life. Nice to see him getting better every day.

Timothy Omundson is psyched to be home after 4 months of rehab!
August 31st, 2017 under Timothy Omundson. [ Comments: none ]

Back in late April, Timothy Omundson suffered a mild stroke in a Tampa airport and he has been in rehab ever since. Well not anymore because yesterday the Galavant King Tweeted this excellent news, “Rehab update! Love & gratitude to all, especially my #SPNFamily [Supernatural]. Your well wishes worked. I’m home with my family now but still more rehab!” Home is the best place for him to recover and I am glad he continues to be on the road to recovery.

Especially since he still has to film some scenes for Psych the Movie that is going to air on USA Network in December. His co-partner in crime fighting, Maggie Lawson, told Parade he was going to fill those scenes in LA but did not say when. The movie would not be the same with Lassie, so I am grateful they made sure to include the incredibly talented actor in it, who is just as good playing a good guy as he is at playing a bad one!

Get well soon!

Psych’s Maggie Lawson gives an update on Timothy Omundson
June 24th, 2017 under Psych, Timothy Omundson. [ Comments: none ]

Maggie Lawson did an interview with Parade Magazine to talk about her Hallmark movie My Favorite Wedding that airs tonight at 9p and she also talked about working on the upcoming Psych: The Movie.

The actress said that even though it has been 4 years since the series ended, it feels like no time has passed on the set. Lawson cannot talk too much about the plot, but she did say that several familiar faces will be part of the telemovie that will air on USA Network in December.

There is one familiar face from the beloved series we are all wondering about and that is how is Timothy Omundson doing after suffering a mild stroke about 2 months ago in Tampa. Juliet shared this about her partner in stopping crime, “As I say, he’s rehabbing the sh!t out of it, which you probably can’t say, but we had a thing we used to always say on set, which is like, ‘Tim, are you going to act the sh!t out of this?’ And he’d be like, ‘Yep, what are you going to do?’ So, that’s why I say that.” Then she added, “He’s doing very, very well. I talk to him all the time.”

It is really great to hear that he is doing very, very well, but will he still be part of this adventure as the network said that he would be? While the actor is rehabbing the sh!t out of rehab, the film shot a lot of their scenes up in Vancouver. According to Lawson, when they move production down to Los Angeles, that is when he will join the film and act the sh!t out of every scene that he is in. Gus and Shawn better watch out because when Lassie is on the case, they always find themselves in trouble. Actually, they always find themselves in trouble and that is why we love and miss them all so much.

I cannot wait to get a pineapple and celebrate Christmas early with Psych: The Movie. It is the holiday treat we have been longing for for way too long.
