Prince went on The View today (yes The View) to surprise the ladies with tickets to his show, and he wasn’t prepared for how Crazy co-host Sherri Shepard would Go for him. The former-Symbol sat next to her and every time the camera had the two of them in a shot, you could see her pants getting wetter and wetter with her Purple Rain. Finally she burst out, “You don’t understand, I have wanted to make love to you to my whole life.” Well as soon as he heard that he got in his Little Red Corvette and high-tailed his way out of there. Poor TAFKAP…
On September 23rd The View is going to celebrate its 3,000th episode on ABC and to honor the big accomplishment the ladies posed with with the numbers 3-0-0-0 and the word shows! While most of the women made sure to show their mugs, Oscar winner Whoopi Goldebrg kept her face hidden by the number. Out of all the hosts on the show, she is the only one I actually want to see her face…well at least when she is not defending Mel Gibson.
Is Wednesday Elisabeth’s Hasselbeck’s last day on The View, because Barack Obama is taping an appearance on the show that day to air on Thursday. An ABC press release say the President will be talking about his administrations accomplishments, jobs, the economy, the Gulf oil spill and family life inside the White House. With all of those Hot Topics, I wonder how Elisabeth Hasselbeck with handle it. Or maybe Barbara Walters who is making a rare appearance on the show since her surgery will replace her and give her the day off. Seriously I don’t know how the Conservative of the bunch is going to handle it. Hopefully it will be better than when Dorothy met President George Bush on The Golden Girls and got all tongue tied because it would be fun to see her lose it like she did when she lost it with Rosie O’Donnell. Not that I want her to go off on him, I just want The View to be more exciting and how exciting would it make it if she were to go off on him?
BTW this is the first time a President of the United States has appeared on a daytime talk show.
So remember a few years ago when Danny DeVito appeared on The View still drunk from downing too much Limoncello with George Clooney the night beforehand. Well the same thing sort of happened to Whoopi Goldberg on the show today. The Oscar winning host hates to fly, so when she has to she makes sure to drug up. Well the effects of the sedatives didn’t wear off in enough time so she did the show still under the influence and Gawker made a best of video of her slurring her words as much as the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star did when he was on the show!
After watching Whoopi’s appearance on the today’s show, I say let’s get all the women high on sedatives before the show. It will probably be the most entertaining hour of television ever and the ratings will go through the roof. And if it is a success maybe they should do it every day, I know it would get me to finally watch The View daily.
Barbara Walters announced on The View today that she is going in for heart surgery later this week. The 80 year old news legend is going to have surgery to replace a faulty heart valve. She is expecting to take at least a month off from work to heal and she is expected to make a full recovery. Here is to hoping she has a speedy recovery because someone needs to keep Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck in check on the ABC talker.
