Back in 1991, Right Said Fred climbed the charts with their huge I’m Too Sexy and now 26 years later that melody is back on the charts. Taylor Swift sampled their chorus in her new tune Look What You Made Me Do and everyone is rediscovering the ’90s hit. Even Right Said Fred themselves, who spent the weekend recording a mashup of both songs. I hope they release it because both tunes, which are great on their own, sounds even better together. Just like peanut butter and jelly, fine on their own but even more delicious combined.
Remember in Taylor Swifts‘ music video Look What You Made Me Do, she transformed into a Zombie? Well that requires a little bit of makeup and the singer showed us how she went from sitting alive to a walking dead. Although, I am not sure if it is the other way around? What do you think?
Taylor Swift released the second single from her upcoming Reputation CD and she is going to get a reputation for releasing bad music that does not sound like her. Something that does not translate well for sales. Granted does she really need them, she is not at Katy Perry’s desperation level…yet.
Talking about female singers, who saw their record sales drop, when did Swift become Avril Lavigne? Doesn’t she sound like the Sk8er Boi on Ready For It?
Taylor Swift hinted in her song Look What You Made Me Do that the old version of her is dead and in her music video she confirmed it. The sweet victim is gone and a scary woman who takes no crap has replaced her. With that I am afraid of what I write about her because I don’t want her to attack me. Maybe Kimye should be afraid, very afraid because the fly is free from her spider’s web.
UPS is doing something they have never done before. They are defacing their brown delivery trucks or should I say putting a face on them. Starting today in New York City, Nashville and Atlanta, they are adding Taylor Swift’s face to their trucks and you might a get a nice reward if you share a photo of it on social media. UPS explained what you will get, “Fans who snap a picture of a decaled UPS package car, at a safe distance, then tag @UPS and share the hashtag #TaylorSwiftDelivery may receive an improved opportunity to buy Taylor Swift concert tickets.”
If you are not in one of those cities, then you can still be part of a UPS contest to win tickets to her show and many other prizes. All you have to do is pre-order her sixth studio album, Reputation, via their website.
This is not the first time Swift has teamed up with UPS. Back in 2006, she used their service to ship out her first single Tim McGraw to radio stations all over the United States. The CD singles were delivered and the rest is music history!
When it comes to why they teamed up with her, I am assuming her last name played a part in their decision. You know because it is Swift and they deliver our packages swiftly. And with that, I will stop!
