If you have ever been on a NYC subway you know you are going to see some strange things and you just let it go. Well Improv Everywhere got dressed up in Star Wars costumes and got the attention of the subway riders. First I liked how no one really cared that there was a woman dressed as Princess Leia on the train with them. Then I loved how when she was being taken by the stormtroopers no one tried to help her, but instead everyone just took out there cameras and vidphoned it. No one tried to save her, but then again I guess by then they were in on the joke.
I have to admit what they did was most awesome, it is a flash mob without the music! I want more of those!!!
TomTom has enlisted some of our favorite Star Wars characters to voice their GPS systems. Darth Vader, Yoda and CP3O are joining Homer Simpson, Snoop Dogg, KITT, Dora the Explorer and Sponge Bob Square Pants as the famous voices that will tell you where to go. For $12.95 you can have Yoda where you need get. I wouldn’t mind having the Star Wars character giving me directions because their voices are so much better than the one that keeps yelling at me, “You are now off track. Rerouting.” Not my GPS, but the person I drive around for living.
Anyways back to Yoda and Darth Vader, take a few minutes and watch the two of them recording their voices for the GPS systems. The Yoda one had me in hysterics!!!

Most Star Wars fans have a lot of time on their hands, so they use their hands to play with their toys…wink wink! Well Silof had so much time to play with his (yes I assume it is a guy) toys that he is recreating Star Wars with his action figures. So far he has only created 2 videos for Toy Wars on YouTube and because I have so much time on my hands I can’t for the third one to come out because what he did was amazing. Seriously how freaking awesome are those webisodes?
BTW I would hate to be there when he finds out that taking the Star Wars action figures out of their original packaging depreciates their value. He will totally turn into Darth Vader.

So some guy, whoiseyevan on YouTube has been making premakes of films and he just debuted his one for what if Empire Strikes Back was made in the 1950’s. And what he did is absolutely amazing!
The first video is the premake clean and the second one is a side-by-side comparison. It is really mind-blowing what he did. So sit back and enjoy whether you a Star Wars or not. Very cool stuff!
On a side note: Poor Family Guy. They are premiering their version of Empire Strikes Back on Sunday night at 9p on Fox up against the Lost and Celebrity Apprentice finales. It doesn’t take Yoda to tell Seth MacFarlane, “Screwed, you are.” Hopefully Fox will re-air it on a much less competitive night. Talk about drawing the small straw.

Jeff and Jennifer have some big news, so they came up with an inventive way of letting the galaxy know about it. They used a climatic scene of Star Wars and turned it in to a sex ed video telling their friends, family and strangers that they are expecting twins. Part of me feels for those two poor little babies that will be born to them, but then the other part of me thinks that was bloody brilliant and you know they are going to have a lot of fun growing up with Jeff and Jennifer as their parents. On a sad note the video concludes with them saying that they are not going to name their future twins Luke and Leia. That is such a shame because how appropriate would it be for them to be named that.
Side note: To my two friends who should be working on baby #2 in a year, I want to see you top that birth announcement when you successfully breed again! I know you can do it!
