There are more episodes of Episodes tonight
July 1st, 2012 under Showtime. [ Comments: none ]

Episodes is back for a second season tonight on Showtime at 10:30p and you are not going to want to miss a single second of Matt LeBlanc playing himself in the Golden Globe winning role.
The show picks up a little while after Sean found out that Beverly slept with Matt and they are separated. Even though they are no longer together they are still working on Pucks together. Pucks is making its debut and now it is up for the public to decide how they feel about the show within a show. Will they like it or will it cancelled faster than Paul Reiser’s show? You have to tune in to find out on the sitcom about making a sitcom.
Coming on Episodes this season, there will be a funeral, plastic surgery gone horribly wrong, a stalker, an affair, a lot of funny ways to use LeBlanc to describe bad things, A Friends reunion with someone from the show, an epic fight scene, someone is getting fired and lots and lots laughs. So make sure to add this Sunday viewing because it will make your work week start off on the right jolly old not.

Will the third time be a charm for Gigolos?
May 7th, 2012 under Richard Grieco, Showtime. [ Comments: none ]

Gigolos is going to sex up Showtime with a third season and I am so excited for it. Show creator Richard Grieco was pimping the renewal to TV Guide and he said that there are going to be some changes to the show. Jimmy Clabots, who was arrested earlier this year for allegedly getting into a physical fight with his girlfriend, will not be back on the reality show as of now. Also possibly gone from the show is Vin Armani, who doesn’t really add anything.
Gigolos might be trying something new this season and adding a gay for play player and I am so down with that. An actor by the name of Gale Harold was talking about his then Showtime show Queer as Folk and said something along the lines just like how men enjoy watching two women go at it, women like to watch two men do it. And let me tell you it is true, so I want that aspect added to the show. That addition definitely got a rise out of me.
If you have never seen Gigolos, then get hooked now because not everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas and that is a very good thing. Seriously I got my UPS delivery man’s mother into this show and she whored it out to all of her friends. Now they just can’t get enough of a reality show that documents the lives of five Gigolos and shows them doing things you will only do for a quick buck.
Hey it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it…

The Big C returns with questions answered
April 8th, 2012 under Showtime. [ Comments: none ]

When The Big C left off in the season finale, Paul’s life was left in the balance. We were left to figure out if the heart attack killed him or if he survived it. Since Cathy saw her husband and no one else did, we assumed that he died. Tonight’s episode on Showtime at 9:30p picks up a few weeks later and we find out what happened to him. All I will tell you is that you will need to bring the tissues.
Now when it comes to Cathy and her health issues, The Big C might be looking for a title change because the experimental treatment is working and she is beating the cancer. Her positive diagnosis will change her outlook on things and her son is not exactly OK with all of the changes.
Even though I was pissed how The Big ended things last year, I am OK with the changes that it brought about to the show.
BTW I still want to know how Laura Linney lost out on the Emmy to Melissa McCarthy because Linney is amazing in the role.

Get to really know the great comedians on the enjoyable Inside Comedy
January 26th, 2012 under Showtime. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 11p on Showtime David Steinberg interviews some of the best comedians of our lifetime and our parents lifetimes too; and we will get to know how they got their start and what makes them so great on Inside Comedy.
Each of the episodes will feature one to three comedians just shooting the breeze with Steinberg and in their conversation they will be taking us inside their comedy. It is a rare look on how the minds of these comedic geniuses work and it is something you will want to hear them share with you.
With marquee names (in order of appearance) like Don Rickles, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Steve Carell, Janes Lynch, Billy Crystal, Brad Garrett, Martin Short, Larry David, Garry Shandling, Sarah Silverman, Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Tim Conway, Ellen DeGeneres (her brother Vance produces it), Kathy Griffin, Steven Wright, Robin Williams and Johnathan Winters, there is someone for everyone to enjoy and that is exactly what you will do. I have seen six of the episodes and no matter who the subject is, I sit mesmerized by their tales. One of my favorite revelations from the series is that Larry David told Steinberg that he used to be a happy man, until something that happened to him and changed into him to the man that he is today. I am not going to tell you what it is because you have to watch to find out.
It isn’t only them sharing with us these great stories, there are rarely seen clips also in the half hour show and they describe what made these moments so special. For example Don Rickles roasting President Ronald Reagan at his inauguration.
I cannot praise this look into Inside Comedy enough because it is great to see people that are always on be real for a half hour in a one-on-one sit down interview. You will be as enthralled as I was with the show, so make sure to watch it on Showtime tonight and every Thursday at 11p.
