Grey’s Anatomy no longer paging Dr. Burke |

Michael Ausiello is breaking another big story and this is that Isaiah Washington was finally fired from Grey's Anatomy. I say finally because ever since the new F-word incident everyone has been wondering when he would be let go and today was the day told him they opted not to pick up his contract. A source told Ausiello, "There was a pattern of problematic behavior going back before he used the F-word, I imagine [his dismissal] was the result of all of that." And that is what has been reported by other projects he worked on to. I guess he always held a grudge with the show because he was the original Dr. McDreamy until Patrick Dempsey auditioned and they gave him the role.
His publicist confirmed he will not be back and gave the following statement from him, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore." Well I guess so was ABC and Grey's Anatomy and they didn't take it anymore.
I won't miss him because I am so sick of hearing about the incident already. Hopefully Katherine Heigl will be released too.

|  Entertainment Weekly says a source told them that T.R. Knight is close to re-signing his contract with Grey's Anatomy! They are saying that his contract will be worth $125,000 with small part of the show's profit, the same as his cast members who already signed.
Many people, including himself, were wondering if he was going to return to the show after the season finale. Well looks like the answer is yes for him, but a maybe for Isaiah Washington. Although Washington has yet to sign, the source said that he will also most likely return.
I am glad T.R. Knight will be back because I love him as George. Now when it comes to Washington, I wouldn't mind losing him just so we can stop talking about the incident. I am so over it already. We acknowledged it was wrong and he did the PSA for GLAAD, how much more are we and Katerine Heigl going to draw it out.

Is it just me or do the pictures remind you of Strong Medicine? Either way I can't wait for this episode of the Grey's Anatomy spin-off because you know that show is going to get picked up. I just hope Amy Brenneman and the title Private Practice are not picked up with the show because both of them bore me.

So The Hollywood Reporter has who has re-upped, who is close to re-upping and who is still fighting for money on Grey's Anatomy.
Ellen Pompeo came out the best of them all making $200,000 an episode. Next up, Golden Globes' winner Chandra Wilson and James T Picken's Jr who will each make $125,000 an episode and T.R. Knight and Justin Chambers are expected to sign on for the same amount. Patrick Dempsey, Katherine Heigl and Sandra Oh are still in negotiations and no salary amount has been released. Isaiah Washington is not expected to get a raise, because of the new F-Word and is also still in discussions. No word on how the negotiations are going for Kate Walsh who has the potential spin-off, Eric Dane or Sarah Ramirez. The contracts are retroactive to the beginning of the season, so imagine the sweet paycheck they are about to get. Also the original cast signed a rumored 7 year deal with Touchstone, so they can negotiate all they want but they are stuck with the show.
Personally I think it is BS that Ellen Pompeo is making more than the others. Yes the show is named after her character, but it is an ensemble cast. Other shows' casts would've fought that, like Friends. I wouldn't miss her if she was gone and was kind of upset she survived the three-parter. Sorry Ellen. Anyways it will be interesting to see what will happen.
BTW is there anyway I can make a year what they make an episode?
