As soon as HBO Max announced that they were bringing back Sex and the City with 3/4ths of the girls, we wondered if the one man that mattered would be back. Of course, I am talking about Mr. Big.
Today, we found out if Chris Noth will be part of And So It Goes. Michael Patrick King, Executive Producer, said, “I’m thrilled to be working with Chris again on ‘And Just Like That…’ How could we ever do a new chapter of the ‘Sex And The City’ story without our Mr. Big?”
Will he still be married to Carrie? We don’t know. Some things are better left to when the show debuts.
Are you excited about this news? I lost interest as soon as they said that Samantha was not going to be part of it. I am a Samantha.
Before Cynthia Nixon was talking about sex with her friends on Sex and the City, she was already talking about it at camp in Little Darlings. How pretty was the 13-year-old in that 1980 coming of age movie?
And Just Like That, we have another reason not to watch the Sex and the City coming to HBO Max. First, there will be no Samantha (Kim Cattrall) and LBH, she is the best character of the four.
Not only will she be missing from the 10-episodes, as will Mr. Big (Chris Noth). We spent all of that time waiting for him and Carrie to get together. Then when they do, it was all for nothing.
He is not the only lover missing from the upcoming series. Page Six says that Miranda’s man will also not be in the picture.
Will you miss Mr. Big? Are you happy that Carrie will be able to have sex with anyone she wants in the city?
Earlier this month, HBO Max announced that they are reviving Sex and the City for 10 episodes. At first fans were really happy, and then they found that Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is not going to be part of that. And Just Like That their smiles turned into frowns.
Well, today, Sarah Jessica Parker came up with a solution. Let’s just replace her with Bernie Sanders’ meme from the inauguration. It works those matching heels, purse, and mask.
Seriously, if Saturday Night Live doesn’t get Larry David to play Bernie dressed and sitting like this throughout the episode, they are missing out on a huge opportunity.
A few weeks ago, there were reports that HBO Max is bringing back Sex and the City. Today, the streaming service confirmed it.
The next chapter “will follow Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”
As you can tell, there will be no Samantha (Kim Cattrall) in the ten 30-minute episodes that begin filming in New York City in the Spring. Believe it or not, I am not a SATC girl, but to me seems pointless to do the show without Cattrall. That is because I am a Samantha, and she is my favorite character.
While she is out, Michael Patrick King is still producing the dramedy.
Are you happy that three out of four of them will be back for the revival?
