The full trailer for And Just Like That’s season 2 is out, and it looks painfully bad.
I am a Queer As Folk girl, so I didn’t watch Sex and the City. But I have a lot of friends who did. They also watched And Just Like That and were not fans of the sequel series.
After watching the trailer for season 2, I think they are going to like it even less. What happened to the fun they used to have?
If they get a season 3, they need to bring back the fun, fashion, and food! Less of the dramatics.
Before we get to that and the return of Kim Cattrall, we need to get through the season that starts June 22nd on Max.
Kim Cattrall has said she would never do anything Sex and the City related again. But as we know, you should never say never.
That is because Cattrall will reprise her role as Samantha Jones for one little scene in the season 2 finale of And Just Like That on Max.
According to Variety, she shot the scene on March 22nd and did not interact with her old co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and boss, Michael Patrick King.
We also know that she will be talking to Carrie Bradshaw on the phone. Even though the season premiere is on June 22nd, we won’t know what their conversation is about until August.
But that is not the conversation I am interested in. Instead, I want to know what Casey Bloys, the chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, said to her to get her to do it. And how much they paid her. Hopefully, it will be more than SJP gets because Cattrall deserves it.
Before Kristin Davis was drinking Cosmopolitans on Sex and the City, she was all about putting Kraft Ranch on her salads. She looks the same now as she did when she was 26 in that 1992 commercial.
June gloom is about to start, and now we know when it is going to end. That date is June 22nd because that is when And Just Like That’s second season will premiere on Max.
On that day, we will get two episodes, and then for the following nine weeks will get a new episode every Thursday until the shocking season finale. I don’t know if it will be shocking. But aren’t they all?
So get your Cosmopolitans ready because you are not going to want to miss a single second of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte’s adventures in the city. The latter is the biggest bitch of them all since Samantha left.
