Sharktopus is swimming on to Syfy tonight at 9p and you are not going to want to miss out on this campy horror flick! The movie comes from horror genius Roger Corman and is a lot of fun, blood, guts and gore.
Eric Roberts and his daughter have created Sharktopus, who is part shark, part octopus. They control him by a collar and when it breaks off he goes on a killing rampage. He is going down the coast eating everyone in his path. Eric wants his creation captured alive, while his daughter and the man they hired to help them catch him want him dead. Who will survive to get to Sharktopus first? Tune in to find out!
Seriously I can’t tell you how much I love this movie, it is everything you think it is! The director Declan O’Brien did a great job make this movie as awesome as it turned out to be. You know with lots of great awesome murders that will have you laughing out loud and the amount of deaths are non-stop.
There are so many deaths in the movie I have come up with a drinking game for this soon to be cult classic! Every time the shark half kills a person drink once, every time the octopus half kills someone drink twice and finally when both sides work together to kill someone chug the drink! I promise you will be sh!tfaced by the credits and love the movie even than you would have had you watched sober. Not that you won’t love this movie sober because believe me you will!!!
Tonight at 9p on Syfy Warehouse 13 ends its exciting season in a way only they can. All season long we have wondered if HG Wells turned over a new leaf and has gone from bad good. Well tonight we will finally learn what her intentions really are and it will change everything and everyone. But before we get that moment, we will see as the agents travel the world to find her in the fast paced episode. Once they do they meet up with her the consequences will affect them all and because of that we will get this season’s cliffhanger which is a really sad one. So make sure to watch Warehouse 13 all the way through because you are not going to want to miss a second of this heart pounding season finale.
Last week I was on a conference call with Saul Rubinek who plays Artie and Eddie McClintock who plays Peter and they talked about the show’s first two seasons! Can I tell you they were just like they were on the call as they were on the show. Seriously you just want to hang with them because you know they would be a lot fun!
Here are some of the answers to the questions they were asked: On what artifacts they want to see on the show:
Saul Rubinek: We’ve been asked this question a lot. About what our favorite artifacts are, we’ve gone to panels and is there an artifact that you would really like to see? And we make jokes, I think, somebody – was it my son I think who came up with the idea? Says an artifact that would be incredible – that would really frustrate you almost to the point of death. And I said, what would that be? And he said, the last straw. And…
Eddie McClintock: And then you can have the scene where Pete says, well that’s not the last straw that’s the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Saul Rubinek: Oh right. Don’t touch that one. We have fun. The writers do also throw away really funny things in episode where – don’t touch that, that’s the original can of worms. Don’t open that. There is little jokes throughout the thing about artifacts and what they can do. But for the most part what they’re – what I like is that the artifacts have to do with actual historical truths and fact. So there are extrapolations and imaginative extrapolations about what actually existed in history. That these artifacts are imbued with the power because of the context within which they were created. They – a part of the Titanic or toequmada chain. So there is a way – I love that. I love that about this show. So there are things that we have fun with, artifact wise.
Eddie is making shirts for the show that we can buy!
And I have decided to do a series of t-shirts for NBC Universal for Warehouse 13. And so I’ve been working on those designs and really having a good time trying to figure out what the people are going to like. And I am going to do a steam punk version. And I think there will be about four or five different versions of the shirt. So I have been kind of needling around with that. And hopefully within the next couple of weeks people will be able to go to the – go to the Syfy site or go to www.Eddie McClintock.com and check them out. See how I plugged that in there?
On will Pete and Myka ever hook up?
Yes. I mean I think, I am glad the writers didn’t go down that path as well. And I don’t think that – I mean Joanne and I would have definitely lobbied against that if they had thought that that would be a way to go because I think it’s always been the thought that as soon as the main actors get together the show is basically over. The audience wants to see the two actors get together. But I think once they do get together then they move on to the next show where the two leads are not together. So I am glad that they didn’t go down that road. What will it take to keep them, you know, that their friendship is just going to continue to grow. And so just like my relationship with Joanne continues to develop and grow, their relationship will do the same as long as they continue to have respect for one another. And their job, I think there is a chance that they can be around the warehouse for a while. And I am not sure exactly what is going to happen.
Eddie talks about playing Myka (Joanne Kelly) when their characters switched bodies earlier this season:
I had a really great time. You know, it’s a fine line, I don’t want to insult anyone. I didn’t want to embarrass Joanne by exposing her little idiosyncratic emotions that she has when she – or things that she does when she is working. So Joanne was very, very sweet and was really okay with the things I was doing. But yes, it is, you know that’s kind of my thing. I like to observe people. And when you’re working with someone for 15 Joanne and – almost all of our stuff is together so I spend a ton of time with her. Watching her, and just seeing how she operates. So it was pretty easy to find a few things that I could use. But then again, you know, you want to make sure that you don, you know, create a character of that person. And I think she did a great job of, you know, doing me. And apparently I look like a gorilla.
Syfy loves doing movies with sea creatures like Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus and Mega Piranha, and on September 25th they will introduce us to Sharktopus. As you guessed it is a part shark, part octopus and all awesomeness! Plus it came from the mind of Roger Corman, so you know it is going to be campy fun! I know I can’t wait to see it Syfy when when it premieres on September25th at 9p because you know it will be so f*cking bad that it will be most excellent!
Ghost Hunters is back for its sixth season on Syfy at 9p and tonight they really hit it out of the park. I say that because they are called in to investigate the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, NY home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. During tonight’s episode flashlights will go on and off as they play a music box, it will sound like a ghost is calling out one of their names and they will hear furniture move above them even though they are on the top floor. These are just a few of the paranormal things they will experience tonight, all of which would have me running out of that hotel faster than Babe Ruth would hit a ball out of the park.
Tonight they stay at a haunted hotel and in the coming weeks they will go to the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Philadelphia Zoo. I am really curious to see what happens when they go to the zoo. I wonder what is scarier there, the animals or the ghosts…
The crocodiles are back in Lake Placid 3 tonight on Syfy at 9p and this time they have to fight Eureka’s Colin Ferguson and Witchblade’s Yancy Butler. Colin brings his wife and son to Lake Placid to sell his sister’s cabin, but when he is told the crocs that killed her are no longer in the lake he decides to stay. What he doesn’t know is that they are still there and his son has been feeding them. The crocs soon go from the meat he has been feeding them to human meat. Yancy Butler is dragged into the mix when a college student hires her to help him find his missing girlfriend who has gone there with her BFF and a boy who wants to get her pants. What they find is bigger than they thought, and they have to decides what is more important finding his missing girlfriend or getting out of there alive. Eventually Colin and Yancy meet up to fight the big crocs together and not everyone nor the reptiles will make it to the credits. You will have to tune in for the best of the Lake Placids tonight on Syfy at 9p to find out who survives to the ending. And yes they leave it open for Lake Placid 4…
BTW Colin Ferguson plays a role different than the one he plays in Eureka and he is equally as good. Yancy is one chick you don’t want to f*ck with and that is very obvious in this movie. I actually felt bad for the crocs having to go up against her. But don’t worry they got plenty of awesome gory kills in before they faced her and Colin!!!
