Swamp Volcano erupts on to Syfy tonight at 9p and it is a hot film to watch on this cold winter night. When oil rigger workers accidentally hit an underwater magna flow, they set off a chain of events that will leave Miami in danger of being destroyed by a underwater volcano. It is up to Professor Antoinette Vitrini to stop that from happening, but the oil company wants to stop her from doing so. It is case of good vs evil and only one side will win. Tune into find out who is victorious in another fun Syfy movie.
Swamp Volcano stars Rachel Hunter, Griff Furst and Brad Dourif and a bunch of bloody cooked corpses.
Tonight at 9p on Syfy Being Human picks up a month after where it left off and there has been a lot of change in the lives of the Vampire, the Werewolf and the Ghost. Aidan is dealing with the ramifications of killing Bishop and who will now be the leader of Boston. Mother is coming to put someone in charge and you will learn very quickly that no one messes with Mother. We also find out the effects of Nora being scratched by Josh, will she turn into a Werewolf just like Josh? While the men’s lives are completely messed up because of who they are, Sally’s is messed up when she decides to go to her High School reunion. There she will meet an old friend who will teach her things that she hasn’t done since she was alive and there will be consequences. This is not last season’s Being Human, but it is just as good.
Then at 10p Being Human finds a new friend on Syfy with Canadian import Lost Girl. Bo (Ann Silk) has the kiss of death as in when she kisses you die. She doesn’t know why she can do that until one day she abducted and told of her Fae heritage. Faes preexist humans, so she has a lot of catching up to do, but are these the one teach her? She will find some others to help her like human Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) and fellow-Fae Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried) as she uses her destiny to help others who are just like her. Lost Girl is the perfect fit with Syfy’s scripted program so make sure to find it tonight and every Monday.
Tracey Gold has battled an eating disorder and now she will battle giant albino spiders in Arachnoquake. According to the press release the Syfy Saturday night feature is about “massive earthquakes (that) unleash giant albino spiders. Freed from their ancient subterranean prison, the spiders go on a murderous rampage through New Orleans.” When it comes to Syfy, any movie with anything giant plus ’80s teen idols equals a lot of campy fun like Mega Piranha and Mega Python vs Gatoroid. So I can’t wait to see this flick that also stars Tiara Gathright, Megan Adelle, Bug Hall and Lucky Johnson when it debuts next year. Especially since it is directed by Griff Fusrt who brought us Swamp Shark earlier this year!
Eric Balfour Tweeted the above picture and boy I am in Haven! The actor explained why he was mooning us on the beach, he said “Ripped my shorts while surfing 🙂 the bike ride home sucked!” It might have sucked for him but it was rad for us because he has a really cute butt that I would love to surf. Seriously isn’t it shaped like two half coconuts?
Tonight at 10p Chiller tries their hand at an original movie and Steve Niles: Remains is scary good for their first attempt.
It is just a normal day in Reno, but something goes terribly wrong and most of the world is turned into Zombies. Now two people are alone in a hotel gambling on survival. Thankfully there are a few other survivors, but how can such a tiny group take on all those undead? Tune in to find out in the best zombie movie of the year!
What I like most about this Zombie film is there isn’t as much noticeable CGI as the others so it feel so much more realistic. If Chiller is going to be turning out original movies like this one I can’t for the second flick!
