Warehouse 13 is back on Syfy tonight at 10p and it picks up exactly where it left off. That means it starts with Artie’s life in flux after being stabbed by Claudia. So is the rest of the world now that orchid denigrated and it is spreading the Sweating Sickness killer plague.
It is up to the now leaderless agents to save the day. So while Myka and Pete try to save the world, Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) and Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) will try to save a comatose Artie (Saul Rubinek).
Myka (Joanne Kelly) and Pete (Eddie McClintock) discover that a Count from the 18th century used to be able to bring flowers back to life, so they are going to talk to a professor at Columbia University who knows all about him to see what he knows. Maybe he might be able to help them find the artifact that can bring that orchid back to life ending the spread of the killer plague. The professor, played by James Marsters, has a secret that will change everything for Myka and Pete and set up things for the rest of the season. I won’t tell you what it is, but I will tell you that Buffy fans that you are going to love Marsters on the show because he speaks with a British accent like Spike!
Now when it comes to Claudia and Jinks, they use an artifact that will get them inside Artie’s brain and try to wake him up. Once inside, they find out he doesn’t want them there. Will they be able to break through his barriers or will we get a new head of Warehouse 13, which might not even matter if Pete and Myka can’t bring that orchid back to life.
You will just have to tune in to find out!
And you must tune in to see Eddie McClintock really let loose and have even more fun as Pete Lattimer. Even though he will be giving us some of his great improved, perfectly-time, one-liners, tonight’s episode is a little more on the serious than the others because of the subject matters. So I asked him what it is like to do such an intense episode last week at the NBCU Summer Press Day. He told me, “Since we are kind of a light show, doing the dark stuff is a welcome change. We never lose sight of the fact that we like to have fun as well.” And they do both in this exciting season premiere on Syfy at 9p.
Tonight at 9p is the season finale of Being Human on Syfy and it ties up a lot this season’s storylines and sets up for the next one.
We find out what the Vampires, who have been drinking Werewolves’ blood, have been turning the people they’ve changed into. What will Aiden do to Kenny now that he knows the truth?
Sally wakes up next to her dead self and a living person will find her rotting body in the bed. How will they explain why a decomposing corpse is just lying there? And have we seen the last of Donna? Did the three roommates really defeat her once and for all?
Meanwhile Nora and Josh don’t really get to enjoy their wedded bliss because Liam stops by and he has vengeance on his mind. That and Josh is preparing to turn back in a werewolf again for the first time since he killed his maker and got scratched by Liam.
So much happens in this episode you don’t want to miss a single of this episode that a nail biter from the beginning until the end.
Back in 1836 The Alamo survived an epic battle and tonight at 9p on Syfy it will partake in another one called Chupacabra vs. The Alamo. Will it as be lucky this time? You will have to tune in for this mythological horror movie that stars Erik Estrada as the man that will try to take down this killer urban legends that have invaded The Alamo. There is a reason why people are afraid of the Chupacabras even though no one has seen them, that is before this bloody movie.
Chupacabra vs. The Alamo is a lot fun and suspenseful at the same time.
If you are looking for a drinking game, drink every time a Chupacabra kills someone and you will be drunk before you know it.
On March 23rd Erik Estrada is starring in his first Syfy movie Chupacabra vs The Alamo and it looks brilliant. It has everything you want a from a Syfy Saturday night movie a legendary heartthrob, a famous location and mythical creatures that tear people apart. What more do you need to tune in?
The Haunted Collector is back on Syfy tonight at 9p and this season they are bringing more emotion in to their investigations. While most paranormal shows are about just about looking into to seeing if there is anything paranormal going on, The Haunted Collector is about that and the people who called John Zaffis look in to their case.
As John explained recently on a conference call, “It’s helping the people, reaching out to them, being able to connect with them and hopefully trying to bring some resolution on several of the different investigations that we encountered, that we were involved with. To me that’s going to be the most important thing.” And that is what we are going to get with the 24 locations they look into this season.
Starting tonight when they go to a barn in Upstate NY and the current owner thinks the past one is haunting the place and killing off her horses. John and investigators will find out if the cause is paranormal or part of this world. But watching the woman going through it all makes this show so much better than the other ones like it.
I love paranormal investigation shows, but I find myself watching more for the architecture and backstory of the place than the case itself. With The Haunted Collector, I am watching more for the case than anything else. That is what these shows should be like and I am glad that one of them finally got it right.
So tune in tonight and every week at 9p to see what John Zaffis and his team encounter next.
