It has been a while since Comedy Central has Roasted someone, and they finally announced who their next Brat is going to be. Nope, they are not going to Roast Justin Bieber again, instead they are going to Roast someone who’s more than twice his age. The original Brat…Packer, Rob Lowe.
The pretty boy with the eyes said, “What a thrill to once again be following in Justin Bieber’s footsteps. I look forward to a night of hilarious jokes recycled from the James Franco Roast. I would like to express my gratitude to the members of my family who have passed away and therefore will not have to endure what promises to be a very special evening.”
As special as the evening he had with the teenage girl in Atlanta? I hope the Dais can bring up his 1988 sex tape. Not only because it is the best celebrity one out there, but because it is the best thing for them to go off on. Well that and he had not 1, not 2, but 3 shows cancelled this year.
When it comes to who will be Roasting him, I hope they get his brother Chad Lowe, his former TV brother Fred Savage, John Stamos who gets mistaken for him and his ex Melissa Gilbert to name a few. Who do you want to see up their ripping him a new one?

Rob Lowe teases The Grinder’s second season |

Even though, the people who watched The Grinder loved it, there just weren’t enough of them. Because of that Fox cancelled the sitcom. Even though Fox’s out, the fans, like me, hope that someone else will save the show.
Yesterday, if our love for it wasn’t enough to want to see it live on, Rob Lowe gave us another. He revealed what was going to happen during the second season. He said, “Season 2 of #TheGrinder would’ve had Dean running for mayor. This would’ve been his poster. ‘Let’s make Boise famous. Together.'” Wait there’s more, he also Tweeted they were in talks with a “stunning Oscar winning actress to play the incumbent mayor. Rhymes with ‘Sally Perry’.” In case you can’t figure that out, they were in talks with Gary Oldman, joking it’s Halle Berry.
I vote for The Grinder and you should too. It truly is a smart comedy that deserves a second chance and more importantly a second season.

Rob Lowe is going from playing a lawyer to playing a beat cop and yesterday he showed off how he looks in his police uniform. I don’t know about you, but I am having thoughts of him cuffing me and giving me a strip search. And there’s no way I would resist arrest. Would you?
The only problem with this look is the sunglasses. He has some of the most beautiful eyes and this uniform would really bring them out.

Rob Lowe Tweeted the sad news that his show The Grinder will not be back for a second season on Fox. He said, “#TheGrinder was not renewed by @FOXTV It was unapologetically original, smart, funny and had a murder’s row of talent. #GrinderRests.” But he followed it up with a great Tweet, “And there is still Grindr. So there’s that. #NotAllBadNews.”
It is that type of humor that will make me miss this show even more. It had a slow start, but it picked up and by the end of the season it was brilliant.
The only reason why I can assume people didn’t watch it is because it was on the wrong network. It would’ve done better on FX or USA. Maybe someone else will pick it. Especially if it gets and Emmy nom or two.
UPDATE: Fox also cancelled Grandfathered. I am not surprised because the show never found its identity. I wanted to like it, but I just never did. I will miss having John Stamos on TV every week, but this was just not the best project for Josh Peck and him.
Oh and the animated Bordertown and Cooper Barrett Guide to Surviving Life were cancelled, but don’t worry no one else heard of them either.

As we know, Fox gave both ’80s teenage heartthrobs John Stamos and Rob Lowe TV sitcoms this year on Tuesdays that begin with Gr’s, so you could understand, kind of, if someone confused them. I mean both of them got better with age, even though they don’t age. They both have luxurious dark hair and light eyes. The 2 men still look amazingly hot with or without a shirt. There is a just a lot about them that is so alike. Right?
Well today, while the Grandfathered is on a vacation, a couple confused him for The Grinder. How did he react? As cute as you would expect him to. That’s why we still love both of them for over 30 years and counting.
Now I wonder how Lowe would handle if he were mistaken for Stamos? Probably, just as sweetly!
