Raising Hope comes up with the new Jewish anthem Rock the Torah!
March 22nd, 2013 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Just in time for Passover, Raising Hope is giving the Jewish People a new song to sing at Bar Mitzvahs, weddings, Brises, family reunions, Temple and in the shower. This new Jew tune is called Rock the Torah and all I can say is oy! It’s the best song for The Jews since Hava Nagila. Rock the Torah brings the people of the Old Testament in to the second millennium. So much so I hope it is added to the Chabbad Telethon!
So light your Shabbat candles and sing “They’re gonna lift you up high a the chair, while we sing and dance the Horah, you’re going to know every word, you’re going to know all your prayers, you ain’t no shmendrik, you’re gonna rock the torah!”
Who knew John Parr’s St Elmo’s Fire was the great basis for the new Jewish anthem? I am sure he is plotzing over this.
Oh and to find out why Raising Hope gave us this beautiful new song, you will have to watch the season finale this Thursday at 9p after American Idol with Garret Dillahunt, Lucas Neff, Shannon Woodward, Martha Plimpton and Cloris Leachman.

February 13th, 2013 under Cloris Leachman, Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Tomorrow on The Doctors Cloris Leachman is a guest on the Valentine’s Day episode and boy does she spice up the show! During one of the segments they tried out nontraditional gifts and one of them was a pair of underwear built for two. So Dr Travis decided to be the guinea pig and slip into one half of the pair and then the Raising Hope star decided to try the other half to see if she could raise the Stork. Well I can’t even put into words what happens next, so you will have to watch as Dr Travis will be the butt of all of his friends jokes and we find out The even more insteresting Facts of Cloris’ sex life!
BTW not only she is cooking things up in her own special way, she is also cooking up her Cloris’ Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread. To get the recipe for the delicious treat then click here!

Is Raising Hope’s Baylie Cregut set to be TV’s youngest director?
February 5th, 2013 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Baylie Cregut is just days away from turning the ripe old age of 3 and it looks like she already has aspirations of being a director and an actress on Raising Hope. The toddler was pictured behind the camera and she already looks like a pro and up for the challenge. But only if the Fox sitcom goes to the apes. Which it will be tonight at 8p for a full hour.
So tune in to see if the show will take a Chance and make her TV’s youngest director. If they do she will have 14 years on Jason Bateman who used to hold that title before the little girl that steals our hearts every week.

BTWF roles: Garret Dillahunt on One Life to Live
January 29th, 2013 under Before They Were Famous, Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

Before Garret Dillahunt was struggling financially on Raising Hope, he was doing the same on One Life to Live. How gorgeous was the 28 year old in that 1993 episode.
BTW I think that Dillahunt had the best character name I have ever heard, he played Charlemagne Moody. Granted it is a stripper name, but then again he kind of looks like one with that hair and those clothes!

Will Jimmy and Sabrina get hitched without a hitch on tonight’s Raising Hope?
January 29th, 2013 under Raising Hope. [ Comments: none ]

You are all invited to watch Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) finally get married on tonight’s Raising Hope at 8p on Fox and what a wedding it will be!
Sabrina’s mom (Melanie Griffith) can’t attend her daughter’s wedding, so she sends a camera crew to document every moment of Jimmy and Sabrina’s special day. What she doesn’t realize is that she will capture all of the stuff that goes wrong leading up to their first kiss as Mr and Mrs Chance. And let me tell you so much goes wrong, I can’t even begin to tell you all of the things that happen. Well that and I don’t want to spoil you, but I will tell you that someone from their past is going to try to stop their wedding. Will they do it? Do you think you know who it is? It is a wedding surprise that will have you laughing until death do you part!
Tonight’s Raising Hope, that also stars Garret Dillahunt, Martha Plimpton, Cloris Leachman, Baylie and Rylie Cregut, Gregg Binkley and Todd Giebenhain, is the funniest wedding episode since Barbara June married Brock on Reba; and that was over 10 years ago! It is also the sweetest wedding since Finn’s mom married Curt’s dad on Glee. So tune for an episode that will be on your DVR until you can own it on DVD forever and ever!
Then at 8:30p you can see if Mr and Mrs Jimmy Chance will be living happily ever after in a second episode of Raising Hope that is part of the full hour on Fox tonight.
