Liam Gallagher has blasted Pete Doherty and Keane singer Tom Chaplin over their recent stints in rehab. The Oasis frontman called the pair "posh lightweights" for checking into The Priory for drug addiction. He told The Sun: "None of us have ever been in The Priory, like all these little idiots today. They have one little line, they have one burn and they’re all in rehab. "That Pete Doherty is cabbaged already. And it’s like, ‘How old are you? Priory at 27 years of age? You idiot.’ Posh boys can’t take drugs, man. They’re lightweights."

Pete Doherty was involved in a bloody brawl with an Italian photographer, it was reported. Doherty, 27, was left covered in blood after coming to blows with the unidentified paparazzo outside his hotel following the end of his band Babyshambles’s Rome gig. The singer allegedly jumped on the photographer and punched him several times before the two were dragged part. Reports said that the incident as witnessed by several female fans, invited back to the band’s hotel following their gig at the city’s famous Piper Club. One witness said that Doherty’s head was "dripping with blood" and that band members had grabbed metal ashtrays to use as weapons in the brawl. Police were not called and the singer was treated by fans and band members while the photographer was said to have gone to hospital for treatment. The concert itself, the final of five dates in Italy, had been marred after a spectator threw a bottle at the band’s drummer, prompting the band to walk off stage. The crowd had earlier been provoked when Doherty threw his microphone stand into the audience. There were no reports of any injuries. At the end of the gig he pushed over amplifiers and the drum kit before smashing another microphone stand several times before walking off. Today the band were due to return to England. It was also reported that the photographer would be filing a complaint against Doherty.

Kate Moss arrived back from a romantic trip to Italy with Pete Doherty wearing a ring on her wedding finger. The picture captured at Heathrow fuelled speculation that the couple are engaged. However, it later appeared that the supermodel, 32, wanted to keep the ring under wraps as she concealed her hand under the sleeve of her jumper as she left her London home. Moss joined Doherty, 27, in Italy where his band Babyshambles are performing. They were pictured together looking in a jewellery shop over the weekend where Moss was shown a ring by a shop assistant. It was also reported that Moss is expecting his baby. Doherty’s uncle, Phil Michels, 57, said: "He has confirmed Kate is pregnant." But despite wedding and baby plans, it appears Pete is still not quite ready to pack up his bad-boy ways. SUPERMODEL Kate Moss is pregnant with Pete Doherty’s baby, his uncle said yesterday. And gardener Phil Michels added that the couple were overjoyed at the news. He told the Sunday Mirror: "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant." It will be 32-year-old Kate’s second child, after four-year-old Lila Grace with her ex, publisher Jefferson Hack. Pete, 27, has a three-year-old son, Estile with former partner Lisa Moorish. Phil said he spoke to Doherty on Friday when the singer called him from Italy, where he is performing with his band Babyshambles. The rocker told him Kate had had a scan, everything was fine so they were happy to share the news. Advertisement Phil said: "They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited." Kate, who has been relaxing in Italy with drug addict Pete, is expected to make an official announcement in weeks. Phil, 57, Pete’s favourite uncle, added: "That is why they want to get married. Pete told me they want a baby together to cement their marriage. "I am made up for them. I wish them every success. They’re so happy, they love each other. I can’t wait for the wedding – we are just waiting for a date." Two weeks ago, the Sunday Mirror revealed Kate, estimated to be worth £25 million, and Pete were trying for a baby.

I sincerely doubt this is true because there were pictures of her smoking taken recently. Maybe I am giving her the benefit of the doubt, but for some reason I think if she were really pregnant she would stop smoking.
