Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Babyshambles have signed a "long term" album deal with Parlophone. Pete Doherty's band signed after putting out the 'Blinding EP' on the label's imprint Regal last December. Welcoming the deal, the band's management issued a statement declaring: "Both management and the band are thrilled to have signed this deal and look forward to a long, fruitful, and creative relationship with Parlophone." It has not yet been revealed how many albums the deal is for, although Parlophone Managing Director Miles Leonard said he hoped the band would follow the label's stalwarts like Blur over a long period of time. "We're extremely pleased to be welcoming such a vibrant and talented band into the Parlophone label," he said. "Babyshambles, justifiably, have a great reputation for crafting some of the most exciting music around today, and in Peter Doherty they have one of the best songwriters of his generation. Parlophone have a long history of working with the best British bands, from Radiohead to Blur to Coldplay, and we see Babyshambles very much as continuing this tradition."

KATE MOSS and junkie lover PETE DOHERTY went to a drug rehab unit together yesterday to battle their demons side by side. The supermodel and the shambolic rocker checked secretly into the discreet Capio Nightingale Hospital just half a mile from her home in North West London. They met staff who cleared a 12-place unit at an annexe behind the main hospital building off busy Marylebone Road. The pair were recognised by passers-by as they arrived but registered for treatment using false names. Kate, who has previously been in rehab after being caught snorting cocaine, has told pals she is determined to support the troubled BABYSHAMBLES frontman. She is said to be battling to help Doherty come off drugs. A source said: “They arrived together and will be supporting each other.” Kate is discussing her relationship feelings while Pete has a much harder fight on his hands to sort himself out. The source added: “They looked very much a couple as they came in and she is clearly worried about him.” Kate, 33. left the hospital yesterday but was expected back to join Doherty in therapy sessions. Yesterday one of Kate’s assistants was seen delivering to the hospital what appeared to be groceries and computer gear. The odd couple have weathered a stormy on-off relationship for more than two years, with Kate constantly struggling to contain Doherty’s wild behaviour. . Several stints in both British and US rehab clinics have so-far failed to curb Doherty’s craving for hard drugs. Pals have warned him — and Kate — that he will kill himself with an overdose if the downward spiral continues.

A couple that does rehab together, stays together?

JUNKIE rocker Pete Doherty injects himself with cocaine in a grubby Thai hostel — as he tells worried lover Kate Moss he is “fine” on the phone. Bare-chested Doherty shot up several times after joining three girls in a backpacker’s £8-a-night room. Around him on a bed was strewn sordid drugs paraphernalia of a spoon and syringes, plus scattered banknotes in British, US and Thai currency. He clasped a mobile between head and shoulder as concerned model Kate asked him where he was and what he was doing. The out-of-it Babyshambles singer replied: “What’s the matter? I love you.” Our pictures make a mockery of the British legal system that keeps allowing Doherty back on the streets despite countless arrests for possession of hard drugs. They were taken from a video made just two days after he and Kate were given a Buddhist blessing for their romance on New Year’s Day during their holiday on the isle of Phuket.

I wonder if the Judge and Kate Moss are finaly going to throw the book at him after these photos. 

via Dlisted I hope that the Judge, who days after this was filmed said he was making progress, holds an emergency court date and finally puts him to jail. Obviously rehab isn't doing anything for him. Seeing is believing, and what more does she need to see?

Kate Moss is reportedly jealous of Pete Doherty's friendship with Lily Allen and has banned him from going to the Brits as a result. An insider told the Daily Mirror that Kate found a present Lily had given to Pete last year, and went "ballistic". Said the source: "(She) kept shouting about why he had kept the thing from Lily all these months. Pete insisted she was being paranoid, they were just mates. "But Kate was having none of it and said there was no way Pete was going to the Brits if Lily was going – especially as she wasn't going herself. Pete was gutted as he was looking forward to it."

Could you imagine if jealousy were to do this couple in instead of drugs? How crazy would that be? And I thought Lily Allen hated Pete Doherty, but then again she hates everyone.
