Sir Paul McCartney and his estranged wife, Heather Mills McCartney, put their acrimonious divorce proceedings to one side yesterday as they celebrated their daughter’s third birthday. Sir Paul and Lady McCartney spent two hours together at the Clambers activity play centre in Hastings, East Sussex, where they hosted a party for their daughter, Beatrice. It is thought to be the first time the couple have met since a secret "crisis meeting" eight weeks ago at Sir Paul’s American holiday home in the Hamptons, Long Island. A source at the play centre said: "They came here and had a lovely time and their daughter had a lovely day. All the guests took away yellow balloons and party bags." One mother who took her son to the centre said: "Bea looked lovely in her pink party dress. If I did not know what had been going on in their marriage in the past few months I would never have known. Bea was laughing and smiling, like any other child having a whale of a time on their birthday." Yesterday’s united front followed yet another turbulent week for the couple, whose divorce proceedings have rarely been out of the headlines since they announced their separation in May. Last week it emerged that 15 audio tapes recorded by Sir Paul’s first wife, Linda, allegedly contain devastating accounts of their 29-year marriage, regarded as one of the strongest in show business. Sources close to Lady McCartney have told The Sunday Telegraph that she is prepared to walk away from the marriage for "just £10 million". The 38-year-old former model was previously thought to be seeking a settlement of up to £200 million, while Sir Paul, worth an estimated £825 million, is said to have offered his wife a £30 million settlement that she had turned down. However, an insider blamed Sir Paul’s refusal to make any kind of offer for the deadlock. "What has really hurt Heather are reports that she has refused offers of £30 million and is going for £100 million," the source said. "It is simply not true. She is looking for more like £10 million – that has always been the figure in her head – and she is now willing to walk away from everything and get on with her life if she is offered a reasonable sum." A spokesman for Sir Paul, 64, declined to comment.

There were rumors they cancelled the party because the two did not want to be in the same room, it is good to see they got over that for Bea’s sake!

Paul McCartney stops Stella from taking on Heather |

Sir Paul McCartney has had to stop daughter Stella from lashing out at Heather Mills over claims she was violent to her mum. UK’s The Sun tabloid reports the Beatle’s daughter wanted to confront her stepmum face-to-face for allegedly telling a pal her dad abused first wife Linda during their 30-year marriage. McCartney reportedly told Stella, who is eight-months pregnant, he didn’t want any more mud-slinging and it was better to remain dignified at all times. A pal told the paper: "Stella was hell-bent on a face- to-face with Heather. But Paul urged her to keep her dignity. "He said he wanted to have his day in court, and was doing his uppermost to stop the mud-slinging. "Stella is still fuming but has had no contact with Heather after her dad’s advice." Meanwhile, the paper quoted one of Heather’s friends as saying the allegations against Stella’s mother were true. "She told me he did to Linda what he did to her," the friend said. "She says staff of Paul’s told her Linda had also suffered abuse." A close friend of McCartney, 64, said he was "seething and sickened" over the allegations. He admitted last week he was only being saved from a breakdown by his children Stella, 35, Mary, 37, and James, 29. His relationship with their mum Linda, who died from breast cancer in 1998, is widely accepted to be the most loving in showbiz history.

You know Stella could easily take her even if Heather had two good legs to stand on!

Heather Mills doing a documentary on her divorce? |

Get ready for the movie version of the McCartney marriage meltdown: Heather Mills has been spotted filming what appears to be a documentary about the breakup. Mills, 38, whose pals claim she has tapes proving Paul McCartney abused her, was filmed over the weekend by her hunky bodyguard/trainer, Ben Amigoni, 22, as she cycled near her Hove, England, home, the Daily Mail reported. Her sister, Fiona, and pals have also been seen tailing her with video cameras over the past year – taping key moments in the divorce battle, such as when Mills was locked out of McCartney’s London mansion. Meanwhile, it was revealed that Mills once impersonated a newspaper journalist with the same name in a failed attempt to break into television. Veteran reporter Heather Mills wrote in The Mail on Sunday that McCartney’s estranged wife posed as her for a year in the late ’90s.

Heather Mills milking the domestic abuse claims? |

Heather Mills plans to become the face of a domestic violence charity after her divorce from Paul McCartney. The estranged wife of former Beatle Sir Paul has told friends that she wants "some good" to come from her bitter marriage breakdown – and campaigning against domestic abuse is the answer. The development comes days after the Mail revealed sensational leaked divorce papers in which she accused Sir Paul of physically attacking her on four occasions during their four-year marriage. In one confrontation he allegedly stabbed her in the arm with a broken wine glass while in another he allegedly pushed her into the bath, causing her ’shock and distress’. Miss Mills is understood to have taped evidence that Sir Paul attacked her. Miss Mills, 38, says she wants to become "a spokeswoman for battered women", by becoming the face of domestic abuse charity Refuge – or Shelter, which helps the homeless, including victims of domestic abuse. McCartney’s aides fear the worst – and are concerned such an arrangement could see Heather talking on televised adverts about her own experiences. "This past week has been absolute hell for Heather," said a friend. "Since these court papers have come out, she’s become a nervous wreck, crying and permanently anxious. "But in one sense she is relieved because she feels that everything is out in the open and in that sense, the worst is over. She is looking for some good to come out of this situation and wants to be able to turn it into a future project which could actually do some good. "She basically wants to make the most of a dreadful situation – and is determined to keep up her charity work. The charities she’s mentioned are Refuge and perhaps Shelter which deals with women, the victims of domestic abuse, who have been forced out of their homes." Refuge and Shelter last night hinted they would be keen for someone as high profile as Miss Mills to come on board if it would help spread their message.

Just when I think she can’t sink any lower, she does something like this. She makes me so sick.

New low for Heather Mills: She says Paul also abused Linda? |

Heather Mills now says Paul McCartney was a two-timer – as a fighter, not a lover. The ex-model has told a close friend that Sir Paul used to knock around his first wife Linda, London’s Daily Mail newspaper reported today. "She told me that he did to Linda what he did to her. She says that staff of Paul’s told her that Linda had also suffered abuse," the friend said. Already Mills’ honesty was being called into question yesterday. She has told friends that cops were called on several occasions during fights with McCartney, but police appear to have no records of such incidents, the paper said. Mills has insisted to her friends she has evidence of the former Beatle’s brutality, yet there is a total lack of support for the claim that he attacked Linda. Writer and vegetarian activist Carla Lane, who was one of Linda McCartney’s best friends, told the Daily Mail, "That’s nonsense. I haven’t said anything about Paul since all this blew up, but I can’t let that pass. I was very close to Linda and I know she would have confided in me if anything like that had happened. It’s just not true." A close friend of McCartney’s was stunned by the accusation. "This is a man who gets distressed if he steps on an insect," he told the paper. Paul was married to Linda for 30 years and they reportedly only spent a week apart until she died of breast cancer in 1998. A legal source connected with Mills told the paper, "She told me she’s got medical records that back up the claims of violence against her. "She’s got witnesses who have given her statements, and she says she has admissions from Paul but I don’t know in what form. It’s certainly not audio recordings."

What a bitch. Seriously how long until she is forced to move out of the UK because she is the most hated person in the country? A week? A month? After the divorce is final?
