Paramount+ has had huge success with The Real World Homecoming. The series reunites casts from the previous seasons of The Real World. The first two cities to take part in the sequel were the first two that took part in the original.
Therefore, we thought that New York and Los Angeles would be followed up with San Fransisco. We were wrong. So, if not SF, then London? Nope. Miami? Nope. Boston? Nope. Seattle? Nope. Hawaii? Nope. New Orleans? Yep.
Finally, they got seven of their strangers to get real again. But do we care about their season because I want San Fran? That was their best season because of Pedro Zamora and Puck, as much of an asshole, the latter was. He was their first real villain.
Now, having said that. Even though I didn’t watch David “Tokyo” Broom, Melissa Beck, Jamie Murray, Danny Roberts, Matt Smith, Julie Stoffer, and Kelley Wolf’s first go around, that trailer makes me want to watch the second one when it begins streaming on April 20th.
CBS decided to move SEAL Team season 5 to Paramount+ after a few final episodes on broadcast. Today, the streaming service announced that it did so well they are picking up the military drama that stars David Boreanaz for season 6.
“We are very excited to welcome SEAL TEAM back for another season on Paramount+,” said Nicole Clemens, President, Paramount+ Original Scripted Series. “The show’s loyal fanbase followed the series to its new exclusive home, and it has proven to be a high-performing title for the service, consistently in the top 10 most-watched original series. We can’t wait for the fans to see what our brilliant creative team has in store for Team Bravo next season!”
Say you what you want about streaming services, but they are helping series get the proper chance to say goodbye.
Oh, and there is some more renewal news. Paramount+ picked up The Game sequel for a second season. And Fox is staying in Hell’s Kitchen for two more seasons.
On February 17th, we are going to get to know Big Nate on Paramount+. But we don’t have to wait until then to find out why we will love the animated show based on the popular book series that stars Ben Giroux as Nate Wright.
The streaming service released a preview today, and we are going to hear Nate sing a song called The Butt Cheeks Song. Not only is it an earworm, but the video is going to be the butt of all jokes. Well, it has a lot of tushies in it because a$$es are always funny.
Whether you are a kid in middle school or you are middle-aged, you are going to love Big Nate and his friends because they get in the trouble we wish we could have. `
The Big Nate also stars Dove Cameron, Rob Delaney, Charlie Schlatter, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Carolyn Hennesy.
Joey King is starring in a new romance movie that is coming out around Valentine’s Day. Tessa (King) is playing a foster teen who falls in love with a senior (Kyle Allen) from a different high school, only to have him taken away from her. Their love is so great that not even death can separate them. Will she get to say goodbye to him, or did their love affair end on that fateful night?
We will find out when The In Between begins streaming on February 11th on Paramount+. So, get the tissues ready because we are going to need them.
Do you think it sucks, huh, huh, huh, that we have not had any new Beavis and Butt-Head content in a really long time? Well, it is time to get excited because their creator gave an update on the duo.
“Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+. No exact date yet, but soon” Mike Judge wrote. “They need some time to get back in shape.” That sounds so unlike them. Hopefully, that is the only change coming because I liked them just the way they were.
