Oprah is golden I mean bronzed
January 30th, 2008 under Oprah Winfrey. [ Comments: none ]

I would love to have seen Oprah Winfrey's face when she found out this was a sculpture of her according to the Daily Mail.

Controversial American sculptor Daniel Edwards latest work 'The Oprah Sarcophagus', is a very full-figured sculpture of Oprah Winfrey – and that's where the likeness begins and ends.

The work casts Miss Winfrey in bronze, as a nude, full-breasted woman with generous child-bearing hips.

This is the same guy who sculpted Britney Spears givng birth and a dead Paris Hilton…someone has issues they need to work through, don't you think? But then again art is in the eye of the beholder, so who am I to Judge?

Oprah Winfrey cuts off Hilary Swank’s hair today
November 2nd, 2007 under Hilary Swank, Oprah Winfrey. [ Comments: none ]

Today is the day that Oprah Winfrey cuts off Hilary Swank's hair. Hilary is donating her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths to help women who lost their hairr due cancer treatment. Not only will Hilary be getting a new look, 100 other people on Oprah's show will be getting makeovers too. BTW I think once Hilary's hair is styled it is going to look really amazing. Way to go Hilary Swank!

the book
was hard 2 write

things i could barely say aloud
alone in a room
made their way to the comp
thru the key board
or tape recorder

writing is
4 me
by far
the most revealing medium
2 work in

i do not feel ready
to discuss or defend
the things i shared
on those 209 pages

read it urself
take away what u need
leave the rest
it is what it is

the goal always is peace
self revelation
sharing – learning – teaching
balance
wax on wax off

for now
i decided no interviews
about celebrity detox
it is too raw

my no
has nothing 2 do with anything
but me
my need 2 find my place
within

oprah is a force of nature
her invitation made me cry
her kind words about the book
reinforces what we all know
2 b true about her

although fueds seems 2 b all the rage
there isnt one
regardless of what u read
or see on fast food tv

with pure intent
comes pure result
we pray

off 2 b dawn budge
in the other holy land
peace out peeps

Oprah moves in with Stedman…finally
December 22nd, 2006 under Oprah Winfrey. [ Comments: none ]

At last! Life & Style has learned exclusively that Oprah Winfrey, 52, and longtime beau Stedman Graham, 55, are set to make it official — they’re going to cohabitate! "They will be moving together to a new place," a rep for Oprah confirms. Could this be the first step towards marriage? Insiders tell Life & Style that Oprah and Stedman could finally be ready to walk down the isle. “At Oprah’s age she no longer feels she has to prove anything about being a strong single woman," says one insider. "She’s happy to let Stedman have what he wants.” While the rep downplays talk of nuptials, the insider says Chicago would be the frontrunner for the wedding location — and Oprah just bought the perfect love nest there: a $6 million, 5,000-square-foot apartment! Congrats to Oprah and Stedman!
