As happy as I am that New Kids on the Block are back, I will not believe it until I see it. I have watched every episode of The Surreal Life and we all know what Jordan Knight was like on both the seasons he was on, so who knows if he will be hanging tough with NKOTB by May 16th?
So People is saying that New Kids on the Block are back, but if you read the article they chop up Danny Wood's MySpace bulletin to make it sound like he is confirming the reunion when he was actually doing the opposite. So even though their is a new song on their site until they officially announce it I will keep it as a question mark? Hopefully they will announce it soon because I can't wait to see them live again! Did I just say that?
Old Kids on the Block, I mean New Kids on the Block are joining the latest trend and doing a reunion tour according to People.
So why now, well here is update on them years after they first became a household name
Eighteen years later, they’re still “Hangin’ Tough.” The oldest “Kid,” Jonathan Knight, now a real estate developer, will turn 40 later this year. Since the band’s demise, former members Donnie Wahlberg, 38, and Joey McIntyre, 35, have seen acting success, while Danny Wood, 38, has worked as a music producer and Knight’s brother, Jordan, 37, has continued to record.
To be honest their careers have not been doing that well. Poor Joey McIntyre is forced to tour over and over again with the Dancing with the Stars tour, Jordan Knight keeps quitting The Surreal Lifes and Donny Wahlberg’s shows keep getting cancelled. So now is as good as time as any.
And sadly I have to admit I want to go see NKOTB even though I know they will not be able to do any of the moves they used to be able to do!
