Shwayze is hotter than the city they were formed in…Malibu. Shwayze’s debut CD with Cicso Adler is due out this summer! But before the self-titled CD comes out Shwayze’s documentary on the making of the CD will air on MTV in July, they spend the summer on the Warped tour and did I mention they are featured in a Pontiac Vibe campaign. If you are like me and like what you hear, vote for them on TRL!
I never thought after seeing Cisco Adler nude that I would be able to like anything he ever did again, but Shwayze did just that.
Fatboy Slim aka DJ Norman Cook told GigWise that he is retiring the name that made him famous.
“Yes, I am ditching the Fatboy Slim name but I can’t tell you the new one,†Cook said.
“I’m going to take the Fifth Amendment on that question and not say because I’ll get myself into trouble.â€Â
Let’s rename the P Diddy wanna-be…Fatboy Cook? Fat Cook? F Slim? Unoriginal?
Personally I will miss Fatboy Slim because I always liked that name.

The numbers are out and Kanye West finally won something according to Billboard.
Kanye West's "Graduation" (Def Jam) easily leads the star-studded class of Sept. 11 releases, posting The Billboard 200's largest sales total in more than two years. Nielsen SoundScan will show West's album moved 957,000 during its first six days when the tracking service refreshes its charts tomorrow morning (Sept. 19).
Also pumping album volume are 50 Cent's "Curtis" (G-Unit/Interscope), which will lock down the No. 2 slot with 691,000 sold. Kenny Chesney's "Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates" (BNA/Sony BMG Nashville) will bow at No. 3 with 387,000 copies.
Forgetting the showdown between the two I want you guys to see the real winner of the last week…
With the "High School Musical 2" soundtrack at No. 4 selling 133,000 copies, the top four titles alone account for 2.2 million units, more than all titles combined on last week's entire Billboard 200.
It was a really amazing week for music sales and it desperately needed it.
