From the people who brought us Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey comes Bambi: The Reckoning.
We follow Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who find themselves in a car wreck and soon hunted down by the vicious killing machine, Bambi.
Bambi will destroy anyone in its path!
For some reason, this movie seems more believable than Winnie-the-Pooh because Bambi looks real. Well, realer than Winnie did in that film.
And because of that, I am willing to give it a try.
Oh, and I hope Bambi gets its revenge on the man who killed its mom. You know, that is what was happening at the beginning of the teaser.
If King Kong and Godzilla came to a city near you, a lot of people would need blood immediately.
So, in a way, it makes sense that Warner Bros teamed up with the Red Cross to promote Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, which comes out this Friday.
Did you know that only 3 out of 100 people donate blood? And that Godzilla can crush more than three people with one step.
Therefore, the Red Cross needs a lot of blood, platelets, and plasma. So, if you donate between now and April 7th, you can get an epic TV shirt with the movie characters on it. And I will be getting mine on Saturday when I donate platelets.
If you donate, you can feel like a superhero without fighting the gigantic monsters. Plus, you get free snacks and fruit juice. Superman wishes his skin was piercable so he could get all of that.
When I think of Anya Taylor-Joy, I think of her as dainty. However, that image has been thrown out the window after watching the trailer for Furiousa: A Mad Max Saga.
Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth star in Academy Award-winning mastermind George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the much-anticipated return to the iconic dystopian world he created more than 30 years ago with the seminal Mad Max films. Miller now turns the page again with an all-new original, standalone action adventure that will reveal the origins of the powerhouse character from the multiple Oscar-winning global smash Mad Max: Fury Road.
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
This year, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey swept the Razzies. At the end of this month, we are getting a sequel from Jagged Edge Productions and that is not all we can expect from this year.
They are also releasing Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and Pinocchio Unstrung.
But it gets so much more horrific in 2025 because Jagged Edge is going to merge the characters into one movie, Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. According to Variety, their Avengers-like movie will star Bambi, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Tigger, Piglet, The Mad Hatter, and Sleeping Beauty.
I don’t know what is the scariest part about all of this: the characters they are destroying, the way they are making them look in their films, the fact that movie theaters will probably show this movie, or all of the above.
All of the above.
For the first time, I think they need to get rid of public domain laws because this is sacrilegious.
Scream 7 has been plagued with problems. First, Melissa Barrera was fired for things she said on social media. Then, Jenna Ortega followed her out the door, although some said her exit was due to her filming schedule for Netflix’s Wednesday. Finally, director Christopher Landon quit the film.
Now, two months later, we are getting an update on the film from the franchise’s biggest stars, Neve Campbell and Kevin Williamson. Both of them are back for the sequel, and there is a script.
Campbell and Williamson both made announcements on their social media:
Campbell wrote: Hi All. I’m so excited to announce this news!!! Sidney Prescott is coming back!!!! It’s always been such a blast and an honor to get to play Sidney in the Scream movies. My appreciation for these films and for what they have meant to me, has never waned. I’m very happy and proud to say I’ve been asked, in the most respectful way, to bring Sidney back to the screen and I couldn’t be more thrilled!!! Well actually I could. While I’ve been so incredibly lucky to make these films with both the master of horror Wes Craven and the wonderfully talented Matt and Tyler team, I’ve dreamt for many years of how amazing it would be to make one of these movies with Kevin Williamson at the helm. And now it’s happening, Kevin Williamson is going to direct Scream 7! This was his baby and it’s his brilliant mind that dreamt up this world. Kevin is not just an inspiration as an artist but has been a dear friend for many years. To the amazing Scream fans, I hope you are as excited as I am. See you on set @kevwilliamson
Williamson wrote: It’s been nearly 30 years since my very first script, Scream, was directed by the legendary Wes Craven. I never would have predicted what it would become. Or that I would be directing the seventh installment of the franchise. I am overcome with gratitude and excitement, and I can’t wait to take this journey with Neve and the entire Scream family as we bring back Sidney Prescott in the next chapter of the Scream franchise. Thank you to all the Scream fans. You are the gift that keeps giving. @nevecampbell See you on set. @guybusick @officialxpe @spyglassmediagr/blockquote>
While we know that Scream 7 is happening, we do not know what is happening in the seventh film in the franchise or who will be returning to the sequel. I am sure that will be announced soon.
