Traffic charges against Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje of ABC’s "Lost" were dropped after defense attorneys proved he has a driver’s license. Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Mr. Eko on the drama series, was charged with driving without a license and disobeying a police officer after he was taken into custody Sept. 2 in Waikiki. Attorneys for the actor proved Tuesday in district court that he has a driver’s license. Following his arrest, Akinnuoye-Agbaje spent about six hours in jail before being released on $500 bail.

I guess that means he won’t be killed off like the other two cast members who were arrested last year in Hawaii for DUI?

ABC is slowly letting little details about the coming season of "Lost" out into the public arena, for the most part couching things in the broadest of terms so as not to give too much away. And so it is with the description for the season’s second episode, which airs Wednesday, Oct. 11, except for this: "Ian Somerhalder guest stars as Boone," the network copy says. Boone, of course, has been dead since near the end of "Lost’s" first season. Somerhalder has appeared a couple of times since then in flashback sequences, usually involving his sister Shannon (Maggie Grace). Shannon, however, died in the November 2005 episode "Abandoned," severing Boone’s closest link to the remaining plane-crash survivors on the island. Somerhalder’s reappearance suggests he somehow figured in one of the other islanders’ pasts as well. The Oct. 11 episode, called "Further Instructions," will also reveal what happened to Locke (Terry O’Quinn), Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) and Eko (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) when the hatch collapsed in last season’s finale, and will find Hurley (Jorge Garcia) returning to camp after being released by the Others. Somerhalder is currently working on a miniseries called "Marco Polo," in which he plays the famous explorer. The project, produced by Robert Halmi Sr. ("Gulliver’s Travels," ABC’s "Ten Commandments" remake), doesn’t have U.S. distribution lined up yet.

I wish there was a way to bring him back on the show fulltime!
