Lost getting lost soon?
May 4th, 2007 under Lost. [ Comments: 1 ]

Watch with Kristin and Planet Gossip are reporting that ABC will be making an announcement shortly about the end of Lost. Seems that ABC and the producers of Lost have come to an agreement about how many more episodes they want to do for the show. It was originally reported that Lost would be going for another 2 years, but they updated the timeline and say it might even be less than that.  There was talk during the midseason upfronts that the show would end after 100 episodes and they just aired the 67th one which means there would be only 33 left. Since the average show airs 22 episodes a season, that mean less than a season and a half left. I am not sure I like knowing that Lost will have finite episode amount left, but they did point out at least the writers will finally give us some answers. And that is something we have all been waiting for!!!
They also said that it looks like Lost will start in January (a la 24) and run without repeats for the whole season. That means we will have to wait about 8 months for a new Lost. That would be torturous because you know that they will have a major cliffhanger like they do every season and that is a long time to wait and will we wait?

Huge Lost tonight
May 2nd, 2007 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

According to Michael Ausiello tonight is the first Lost episode with no flashbacks in the show’s history, and we will also get the most twisted death so far. OMG! What could that mean? I just hope it is not Locke. And remember this is only the first of five deaths that are suppose to happen before the end of the season…
Is it 10p yet?

OMG Lost!!!

OMG how amazing was the ending of Lost tonight, it felt like the first season all over again!!! But part of me wonders how the writer’s are going to get out of this one because they said that was not one of the theories on why they were on the Island…but then again I don’t think any of those writers are still working on the show???

Lost will be losing at least 5?
April 24th, 2007 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

According to Michael Ausiello there will be at least 5 deaths on Lost before the season ends. He gave no hints who it might be or not be, but he did say that season finale finally have that long awaited confrontation between Locke and Jack that will effect the castaways futures. I am rooting for Locke, but time will tell if he has become an Other???

Lost viewers found on DVR
April 11th, 2007 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

So week after week it has been reported that Lost is losing viewers, well turns out they really haven't been. Seems most people are just not watching the show live they are watching on DVR. When the show airs on Wednesday at 10p it averages around 11.7 million viewers, but when the DVR viewers are factored in the show climbs to 13.8 million viewers. I know I am one of those people who no longer watches the show live.
According to Variety Lost is not the only show that picks up viewers with DVR, here are a bunch of others, "The 24% demo spike from "live" to "live plus 7-day" for "Lost" is the most for any current primetime show on broadcast television. NBC's "Heroes" and "The Office" both see their 18-49 average climb by 18%, while Fox's "24" and CW's "One Tree Hill" rise by 17%. Increasing by 15%-16% are NBC's "Las Vegas," "Friday Night Lights," "The Apprentice" and "My Name Is Earl," as well as CBS' "Survivor."
Hopefully The CW and NBC will take notice to these numbers when it comes time to pick up One Tree Hill and Friday Night Lights. What is it with Wednesday that we feel we need to watch it on DVR?
